One of my favorites 💕

Rukanahbintceasare DHA’s c**t x Treff-HavenLabeeb has 3 up CLOSE crosses, contributing ~18.75% of his genetics 😍 with only 4 crosses to Nazeer. His pedigree is an outcross to modern day New Egyptians

Here is *Zaghloul (Gassir x Gharbawia), one of the non Nazeer Gleannloch imports from Egypt. He was a National winner sire and grandsire but is best remembered as the sire of the granddam of Thee Desperado, U.S. Reserve National Champion Stallion and all time leading Egyptian sire of champions.

HamraaBintHalimah DHA aka Hally delivered a healthy c**t by Treff-HavenLabeeb yesterday morning. He’s looking so nice and balanced with a pretty face to match his nice structure. I can’t wait to see how he unfolds over the next few days!

This c**t carries some unique and rare Asil blood from the Weil and Bablona studs in Germany. His sire is non-Nazeer 100% New Egyptian with old blood up very close. Both parents are striking individuals and this boy is bound to follow in their hoof prints, sure to be a stunner!

He is available for purchase, so if you’ve ever been interested in breeding quality, preservation, outcross bloodlines or are looking for a solid and correct prospect, please inquire about this special boy 😌

We have some exciting news to share here at DHA!

Cale Marquess has checked in foal to Musafir Almubarak, and Bint Saaheb is confirmed in foal to Treff-HavenLabeeb! Just today, we also found out that Halimah CW is in foal to our homebred stallion Baroud DHA.

All of these mares carry rare preservation lines, so this news is even more exciting!

Cale Marquess traces to Mohalhil, Mahsudha, and La Tisa who were imported from Saudi Arabia by Charles Crane in 1931. She also traces to the stallion Obeyran imported by the Hamidie Society from the Ottoman Empire for the 1893 Chicago World Fair.

Bint Saaheb aka Fancy was sired by the late non-Nazeer Straight Egyptian stallion Al Saaheb. Her dam is pure Pritzlaff breeding with the rare Basilisk tail female line (currently ~20 mares left with this TF line) through Rabanna. Think pink!!!

Halimah CW is Babson Egyptian sired and carries RARE blood tracing to the Weil and Bablona studs in Germany through her dam side. She has been an excellent producer for us, but unfortunately, this will be her last pregnancy due to developing arthritis from injuries she sustained as a young mare before she came to Tucson.

Wish these mares luck as they carry forward some of the rarest Asil preservation lines forward 💞

Baroud and I have been progressing through our lessons - albeit slowly. Today, I loped on him for the first time postpartum and even rode out some crow hopping. It sounds silly, but it really boosted my confidence. I’ll be working on more under saddle time with him so we can make faster progress. He’s so athletic, I can’t wait to unlock his potential.

Thee Domino
Heterozygous black Straight Egyptian Stallion

Domino is Straight Egyptian with a Western Pleasure influenced pedigree featuring some of the most prolific "who's who's" and legends in Straight Egyptian breeding including The Minstril, Thee Desperado, Ansata Ibn Halima, Morafic, Raisuli El Pharo, Moniet El Sharaf, Haziz Halim and many more.

His pedigree also contains some Babson/Halima breeding, with New Egyptian sires crossed to Old Egyptian (Babson) dams - often revered as "The Golden Cross."

Domino is often a farm favorite amongst visitors due to his gentle temperament and love for people. He produces easy-tempered and very-trainable foals with smooth, flowing movement. His daughter Masriyah DHA, retained in our breeding program, has competed and placed well in 25 mile endurance races, and is due in May with her first foal. We are so excited!

Affectionately known as the "Thirst Trap" 🤭

Baroud’s lineage includes multiple successful dressage and jumping horses, as well as English Hack, Pleasure, and Hunter winners.

Through his sire side, he traces to Sabeel EAO who was a prolific jumper, breezing over 5’10” jumps. Sabeel sired GAF Hosam who inherited his sire’s skill for jumping. From his owner Kristin Ellingsen: “His son, GAF Hosam could fly too, and we enjoyed many jumping competitions in Egypt and Connecticut when we moved home.”

Baroud also traces to Ibn Hafiza close up in his pedigree. Ibn Hafiza sired Sahlih who showed and placed well in English Show Hack, English pleasure, and Hunter pleasure.

Through his dam side, Baroud traces to Asadd who was twice Top Ten in Arabian English Pleasure. He also traces to Makhsous who was a leading winning producing sire through his get.

This athleticism and self-carriage permeates through the generations. Baroud and I are currently taking jumping lessons, and are looking forward to providing updates on our endeavor!

Baroud produces sporty foals that can go any direction. Inquiries welcome 😊
