The beardies are low on rephasy, syringes and plates if anyone would like buy them some. We use paper plates for sanitation purposes. Better to just threw them away, then try to make sure they are perfectly sanitized to avoid risk of cross contamination. In our bio is the link to our Amazon wishlist.

Steve's mom is waiting sooooo patiently and wants to hurry and bring him home. But Steve's is busy playing superhero instead of shedding his tail 🤦‍♀️😂 We need him to shed or the glue to fall off from his tail amputation to make sure his tail looks healthy before he leaves.

But 🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫 it's a surprise! Her mommy has been wanting a beardie for years, they have wanted until she is older. Ray will be her big birthday surprise. They came to just meet the beardie and she fell in love with Ray and her sass. They told they will think about it but it's happening. I always make sure parents are 100% committed too. Ray will be leaving for her big surprise in a couple weeks.

Update on Smaug. He's eyes are looking better and his nose and throat is looking clear but he does have thick mucus in his mouth which is a sign of dehydration. We are continuing his oral and eye antibiotics to make sure we are still headed in the direction and the pneumonia is completely cleared. He will receive several doses of subq fluids at home to help with the dehydration. His weight as I already knew is still down. I am going to get him baby food and veggies to add to syringe food to see if he will eat it better when syringe fed and extra protein and calories to get that weight up. His adv results will be back this week mostly likely. So we are headed in the right direction but not out of the woods yet. His total today was $171.55

Update on Smaug, it's definitely been a struggle for him. Some days he can see better. Some days he eats great, some days he doesn't. His eyes are sticking nearly as often. Not much gunk is coming out of his now. The last couple of days he's been eating better. He has dropped some weight since getting here but hopefully things are finally looking up. He has a follow up appt tomorrow.

If your new here, Smuag came here about a month ago with a really bad eye infection in one eye, his other eye just would run. He also had pneumonia, he was a very sick boy.

The stray baby we took in over the weekend is settling in great and has been named Trixie.
