Four years ago, Bono got his second chance.

He came to us as a foster after being pulled from a euthanasia list. He was less than six months old, full of puppy energy, couldn’t walk on a leash, and had been found tied to a fence as a stray.

We planned to help him find a home. Instead, after a year of fostering, he found his forever home with us.

Today, Bono is celebrating his 4th Gotcha Day the best way he knows how—with one of his favorite treats, a chicken foot from The Packs Snacks.

He still lives for chasing his ball, still isn’t a fan of walking on a leash, and still makes us laugh every single day. Watching him grow from an overlooked puppy into the happy, goofy dog he is today is exactly why we do what we do.

Happy 4th Gotcha Day, Bono. Here’s to many more adventures, more tennis balls, and plenty of chicken feet.
