I hope never of us have to experience this, but the best plan is to always be prepared.

This isn’t exactly pet care but I consider it critter care, so here you go!

This morning I was plant puttering in the back yard, mostly staring at the Zinnia sprouts imagining how beautiful the planter will be as well as propping up my sunflowers and trimming dead leaves. I trimmed a funky looking leaf and when dropping it in the green waste pile I discovered these teeny tiny maybe caterpillars. I went back to look at the sunflower its self and discovered hundreds of these little wiggly wonders. After checking in with a Tucson Gardening group I learned that I’m hosting soon to be Bordered Patch butterflies! I’m so excited to watch nature unfold and will be tucking that cut leaf back up with the others.
