Today I crowned Sunny queen of the day👑. She found some fresh horse p**p to snack on, and when I told her to leave it, she ran over to me and spit out the 💩 and received a cookie! The goodest girl in the whole wide world ❤️

By the end of our sessions, Henry is usually ready for a little break. 😴
At 10 months old, this guy has a LOT going on in that Bernedoodle brain, so we’ve been working on building a more reliable recall and helping him learn that demand barking isn’t the way to get attention when his people are busy.
Sometimes progress looks like a polished recall. Sometimes it looks like a young dog who can finally settle and take a breather. ❤️

Monday was decompression walk day with my guy Wobbe. When you’ve got the big feelings about other dogs, these outings are crucial! Wobbe gets to sniff and explore and be a dog in a safe environment where there isn’t pressure to interact with other dogs.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year in Truckee! Yup, I’m talking about shoulder season. The weather is cooler, the trails are quieter and the dogs are ready for fall adventures.
If you’re looking for help with trail manners, leash reactivity or other troublesome behaviors that could benefit from working with a private dog trainer, I have openings for local pups and their humans in need of support.

I also have space for solo neighborhood walks, decompression walks, and off-leash group adventures if your pup just needs extra exercise and mental stimulation while you're working.
Everything I do is rooted in modern, force-free, science-backed methods. My goal is to help you build confidence and real-world skills with your dog without ever using pain, force, or intimidation.
If you want to get on the schedule before winter sets in, send me a message here or reach out at
