In celebration of Independence Day, we will be CLOSED on Friday, July 3rd so our doctors and team can enjoy the holiday with their families.

🐾 We will reopen Monday, July 6th during our normal business hours and look forward to seeing you and your furry family members then!

If your pet experiences an emergency while we are closed, please contact the nearest emergency animal hospital.

🎉🐾 Please join us in welcoming Dr. Jessie Whitfield to our veterinary family! 🐾🎉

We are excited to have Dr. Whitfield joining our team and helping us continue to provide exceptional care to the pets and families we serve.

Originally from Florida, Dr. Whitfield earned her Bachelor's degree in Biology with a minor in Psychology from UNC Charlotte before attending St. George's University School of Veterinary Medicine. During her final year, she completed her clinical training at the University of Georgia.

Dr. Whitfield has a passion for ultrasound, surgery, and internal medicine, but what she loves most is helping pet owners understand their pet's health and guiding them through the best treatment options. Her compassionate approach and dedication to patient care make her a wonderful addition to our hospital.

When she's not caring for patients, you'll find her spending time with her husband Michael and their furry family: four cats, Justice, Bella, Blink, Tippy and their pit bull, Charlotte. She also enjoys fitness, reading, game nights, concerts, and cheering on the Charlotte Hornets.

Be sure to say hello and give Dr. Whitfield a warm welcome when you see her around the hospital! ❤️🐶🐱
