Our exercise yards for the dogs are a hub of activity when it’s not hot and humid. This photo is from May. Right now, all the dogs are in their air conditioned buildings and kennel runs because the weather in there is much better. It’s by choice. They can come and go.

This is great considering it’s 4th of July weekend and we would rather they be where they can’t hear the firecrackers from our distant neighbors. We are planning for a few quiet days around here.

We are building another yard for our office crew and replacing gates. After taking down the giant elm tree behind the kennel, we now can build additional yards. The goal is to make more space for the dogs to run around outside on a daily basis (weather permitting.) Keep in mind, they always have access to a temperature controlled building. Call for reservations. We are located between Troy and Warrenton in Missouri.

Spring time on the farm: We are having our floors in the kennel redone in the next two weeks -one side and kennel entrance room. For four days, we will need to enter the kennel from the back door and move a few dogs. But the good news is we are also installing new stainless steel kennel fronts and the floor will look great. That will mean that the entire kennel renovation is complete…in time to re do something else. Still working on the new grass side yard. Will post photos of the floors and kennel- coming soon!!!

I thought I’d post as we get ready for the summer boarding season. We have been mowing grass whenever it is not raining and the grass is winning. We are full for boarding for Memorial Day weekend. Please call for boarding rates as our website is very old (like more than 10 years old) and those prices are not accurate. I’ll try to update it tonight. It’s HTML - not my native language. Our gates are locked at all times so please make an appointment for pick up and drop off. We have major fencing projects in the near future - adding exercise yards for the dogs. It’s always something here at the Farm! Below is Buddy.

We are booking reservations for the holidays and filling up fast. In January, we will be doing some upgrades to the fencing. We will eliminate chain link in the building and replace the last four kennels with stainless steel gates and fronts. Finally, it’s all matching. We are also adding three new exercise yards and fencing a new jumbo side yard that is all grass and will be a lovely space for multi dog families to play! And for some of our more energetic dogs to get out the zoomies.
