Dear Pike Animal Hospital Family,

For more than thirty years, Lawrence had the honor of caring for your beloved pets, and he loved every minute of it. Since opening the doors in 1992, Pike Animal Hospital has been so much more than a veterinary clinic—it has been a family, built on the relationships he formed with you and your animals.

This past year has been one of the hardest of my life. When Lawrence passed away unexpectedly last April, I was overwhelmed with grief. But your kindness, your prayers, and your unwavering support carried me through those darkest days. You surrounded me and Anise with compassion, love, and grace. There are truly no words to express how much every card, message, meal, and hug meant to us. Just as meaningful was the way you continued to support the clinic—your loyalty and trust helped keep Lawrence’s legacy alive during a time when we needed it most.

I also want to share my deepest gratitude to John, Shannon, Peter, Austin, and Dr. Bob. I truly could not have kept the doors open without them. Their dedication, hard work, and love for this place carried us through an incredibly difficult season, and I will always be thankful for each of them.

As I begin to turn the page to a new chapter, I am comforted in knowing the hospital will continue in caring and capable hands. I am proud to share that Dr. Nick McLaughlin has purchased the practice, and he will open his vet clinic in our location next month. He has shown such genuine compassion for both animals and the people who love them, along with a deep respect for everything Lawrence built. I truly believe he is the right person to carry this legacy forward. Please join me in supporting Dr. McLaughlin and his practice as he continues serving this wonderful community.

I know in my heart that Lawrence would be proud—proud of the love and care that have always defined this place, and proud to see it continue.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for loving and supporting Lawrence, for trusting him with your pets, and for surrounding me with such kindness. You have meant more to us than you will ever know, and you always will.
