Louie has a stall mate! Somehow, this guy manages to cohabitate in his own little corner. It’s actually a pretty large toad. I can’t tell you how many times I disturbed him thinking he was a p**p ball 🤣🤣. I guess everyone needs a buddy.

And boom! Barn Swallow season is over. The nests are all empty, no lines on the fences, no swooping in the pastures. The grand migration has started for another year.

It’s now Dragon Fly season! Hundreds and hundreds of them everywhere! I wonder if they purposefully wait until the swallows are gone?

Woo…I’m going to solve a lot of the world’s problems this morning in here. Anyone else changing the world this morning?...

In honor of Mother’s Day…this is Mama Kildeer. Hidden beneath her are 3 adorable little baby Kildeer. Mama gathered them up and hid them for safekeeping when the big, scary monster (me🤣) got a bit too close. Kildeer will actually act injured to entice predators away from their nests and babies. I guess that’s one way to keep your kiddos in line…just sit on them!
