We have a few new faces that arrived here last week! A stunning pair of jungle carpet pythons.
These are from HeadHunter and Highlighter bloodlines, which makes them exceptionally beautiful individuals.
A bit of a deviation from my typical boa posting, these guys needed a home and I was available 😊 very happy to have them.

My final litter of the 2026 season dropped last night! A few stunning Guyana Bcc from a second time mom. She birthed 3 live, 1 stillborn, and 7 slugs. One of the live babies may not fare very well, as it’s quite undeveloped with a large yolk attached.
This litter is slightly bittersweet, but i learned what I intended to from this pairing. And it’s always a blessing to have any live babies born.

This lady is already pretty moody and cranky as it is… But she really did not appreciate the hollering and jumping around that ensued after a bumblebee crawled up my shirt and stung me 😅 Sorry girl, my bad for sure.

A unique Guyana girl I’ve been raising up. Her thick chocolatey stripes are a lot different from my other aberrant types. I love her wider head structure and beautiful bright face 😁

My Iquitos Peruvian dropped a beautiful small litter of babies last week!
5 very big babies and one small runty one that’s still robust for its size, a few slugs. All but the smaller one has shed out and they look amazing!
She dropped her litter on September 12th while I was away. I was able to watch her on camera and she did so well. I watched her thoughtfully dig out a spot in the sphagnum moss and a few hours later give birth. The birth itself lasted about a half hour, and she spent over 15 hours pushing her face around in the litter, checking on all of her babies.
This was a very exciting first time litter for me and I’m very proud of momma.

My big yellow girl out for a crawl 💛 she’s my largest and most gentle boa. I always love interacting with her!

This handsome guy is one of my Aberrant Guyana Bachelors for this season.
He’s a fantastic wild caught boy with some gnarly scarring to prove it, but wonderful nevertheless! He’s been with me for many years now.

Linguine looking fabulous, this guys contrast and stripes are next level!
I was hoping this boy may sire a litter this year, but I’m not sure if we had any luck. Staying hopeful 😁

This beautiful male went to his new home yesterday, he was my favorite out of the non holdbacks and I’m glad to have watched him grow up a bit before he left 🥰

I hope to have a few more like him this season! As I’m expecting 2 striped/aberrant Guyana litters.

A stunning wild stripe I’ve been raising up!
I’ll never get tired of the variety in striping and aberrant patterns that some of these Guyanas have. All of their small subtle differences, but also the similarities. Very interesting animals to work with!
