Oh boy, have we ever had kitten fever! 🐱🤒 And soon, that fever will be cured 🩹 because one of our Queens is expecting 🤰 ! We are beyond excited to welcome another Dragonglass litter. 🎉

I wanted to take a moment to update everyone who follows us and those who are part of the Dragonglass family about our goals and the direction we are taking our cattery.

As my husband always says, “If it’s rare and unique, my wife has to have it.” 😂 And, as you can imagine, that usually comes with a price tag too!

That is where our love for Cinnamon and Fawn Points comes in. One of our biggest goals is to preserve these beautiful, uncommon colors while continuing to prioritize health, temperament, and genetic diversity. In 2027, we are planning for our first Cinnamon and Fawn litter (possibly even sooner)!

We have proudly bred Siamese and Balinese since 2021, but our long term vision is becoming more focused. Our primary goal is to concentrate on our Balinese program, while also beginning the addition of Maine C***s to Dragonglass.

We will likely continue with Siamese for the next couple of years. Our Siamese play an important role in maintaining diversity within our program and helping us reach some of our long term breeding goals. Once we have accomplished those goals, we plan to gradually retire our Siamese program and focus primarily on Balinese and Maine C***s.

✨💎 2027 is shaping up to be an incredibly exciting year for Dragonglass! 💎✨

We are looking forward to adding more beautiful queens to our Balinese program, as well as welcoming our first rare Phoenix Maine C**n and Blue Smoke Maine C**n.

Our goal has never been simply to produce rare colors. We want to produce them responsibly.

It is incredibly important to us to preserve these rare and unique colors in both our Balinese, Siamese, and Maine C***s while maintaining strong, healthy lines with excellent diversity, wonderful temperaments, and a commitment to genetic health.

Rare is exciting. Unique is beautiful.
But healthy will always come first. ❤️

We are incredibly excited for what the future holds for Dragonglass Cattery, and we are so thankful to everyone who continues to follow our journey. 🐾🏰✨
