Dear Dog Guardian,
Do you ever feel like you and your furry friend are on different planets? Like you have tried everything and nothing seems to work? The frustration, the feeling of hopelessness, the regret - especially if you have already worked with a trainer or two; it all can be so overwhelming.
Or maybe this is your first dog and things are a bit more challenging than you thought.
Most trainers know exactly what you are going through. In fact, for many of us, that overwhelming feeling of helplessness was the reason we chose this profession in the first place.
But despite our best efforts, something seems to be missing, not only for our human clients, but for their dogs, too. Traditional training approaches may be good for teaching tasks, but they also tend to suppress a dog emotionally, which causes internal turmoil.
Affective Dog Behavior focuses on keeping things simple for you and your dog - not by avoiding challenges, but by addressing your dog's emotional needs in the face of them. Surprisingly, this isn't as difficult as it may seem. See, instinctively, you would already know how to help your dog feel more secure - if it weren't for modern dog training making things more confusing. The good news is that you can bring your instincts back, and our courses can make that happen with an interesting mix of brain science, practical insights, videos and simple exercises.
What's missing though are step-by-step training instructions, since ADB doesn't promote traditional training.
