The State of Colorado, Department of Agriculture PACFA that governs the pet industry, including specifically grooming -requires us as a grooming facility to have records of Rabies and DHLPP for dogs or we aren’t allowed to groom them. We can loose our license and ability to be open.

Low Cost Vaccination, Nail Trim, & Microchip Clinic happening at PALS Thrift Store (131 E. Main St in Trinidad, CO) Saturday March 28th from 10am-2pm. Cat and dog services will be held at separate times: Cats from 10am to 11am, Dogs from 11:30am to 2pm. Please take note and be sure to plan accordingly.

This is a first come/first serve event, so please be patient as waits can be expected. CASH is preferred and generally the quickest payment method. We are unable to run credit cards for under $10.

💉 Rabies Vaccinations- $5 courtesy of PALS, administered by Dr. Blanton

A new grooming shop is opening in Walsenburg!! While we would hate to loose any of our existing clients, if this is closer to you or you have a large dog, they may be a good fit!!

We have a few goals this week! Help us reach them!

We are back in the shop. So sorry for last week!

I’m so sorry for the abrupt closure of the shop with no notice to anyone. All the appointments that have been missed, I will get them rescheduled as soon as I can. Had a family emergency and haven’t been able to take time to get in touch with anyone.

Meet our staff!!
Left to right:

Bree is our assistant groomer and part owner. Also the oldest daughter of Denise! Bree has been in the industry since high school and just celebrated 9 years working with animals.

Erin is our new groomer recruited from Phoenix (where Bree and Denise both worked with her). Erin has been grooming for 13 years and LOVES working on big dogs!!

Denise is part owner and groomer . Mother of Bree (plus a few others!) and Grandma of 3. Been in the industry off and on since 2004. Former owner of Wood Valley Grooming in Raton.

Due to weather, Doghouse Grooming will be closed Friday November 8th and Saturday November 9th. Unfortunately, I am unable to get to the shop to get the schedule book and shop phone to call any scheduled clients at this time. I’m so sorry for the inconvenience!!
