This has been hard for me to post. This handsome boy Zen graduate. Then lost his battle to hemangiosarcoma a common and aggressive cancer. It is also a very silent cancer. He was always happy and eager to learn especially when Treats were involved.

Please share! Katara is being fostered in the St. Louis area.

Katara is the perfect puppy package. She’s young enough that she still has fun energy and is eager to learn. But she’s old enough that she’s potty trained and is great in her crate. This 9-month old Australian shepherd loves to play with toys and be active. She is absolutely thrilled with chasing tennis balls, even though she isn’t always sure she wants to bring them back! She has impressive speed and would likely excel at agility.

Katara is also quite the cuddle bug and loves snuggling with her person. She’s fantastic with other dogs and really would like a friendly dog buddy.

Katara is deaf and is quickly learning hand signals. She already knows sit, come, and shake, and is eager to keep learning more.

Katara doesn’t want to sit home all day by herself. She’d prefer a family where someone is home a lot. She requires a physical, fenced yard and she would really thrive with someone who has herding dog experience and understands smart, active breeds.

One of our amazing fosters and trainers has officially become a foster failure! Nova, formerly known as Tess, has found her forever home and is now a permanent member of the pack. Nova is deaf and she has already learned an incredible 24 hand signals. Some were intentionally taught, while others she picked up simply by watching and learning from her canine sisters. Having just celebrated her first birthday a few days ago, Nova has a lifetime of learning, adventures, and opportunities ahead of her.

Communicating with a deaf dog isn't difficult, it's just different. Nova's mom is excited to help educate others and will be showcasing Nova's skills as a demo dog at some of our upcoming events. Congratulations to Nova and her family on this happy ending and new beginning!

HI! I'm Kane and I love to swim. I am soooo excited that Speak will be attending the St. Peters MO PETaPalooza this Saturday. The Laurel Park pool will be open for friendly pups to go swimming during this event! Oh sure, there will also be lots of vendors, food trucks, and adoptable pups like me at this FREE event. Audrey and Kane are two puppies that I’ve met with Speak Rescue and SanctuarySpeak! Rescue and Sanctuary that are available for adoption. I met them a couple weeks ago. They are great dogs very friendly very playful. They are Australian Shepherd, and husky mixes. Audrey seems to be more of a people person and Kane is more of a dogs dog. Kane also loves water. They are brother and sister. They’re about nine months old.

Presto is searching for his forever home. Please share and help him find it.

Presto is a sweet little Bichon puppy who loves to play and loves to cuddle. He has a blast playing outside, zooming around the yard. Then he’ll come in and snuggle with his soft toys.

He’s handsome, but he’s also smart. He already knows “come” and “sit” and is doing a good job with potty training. He’s very good in his crate and is just an all-around great puppy.

Presto has limited sight in one eye but it doesn’t stop him one bit. He loves all dogs, enjoys all toys, and can entertain himself.

Presto would like someone who can spend time with him and isn’t gone all day. He really likes being around people. He would love a playful dog friend, but he would also be content as the only pup in the home.

Presto is quite a happy, little puppy. He does a dance every morning when he sees his human and is curious about everything. This great little guy is being fostered in the St. Louis area.
