🐷 Sarcoptic Mange in pigs 🐷

Sarcoptic mange is caused by microscopic Sarcoptes scabiei mites that burrow into the skin. It can cause severe itching, redness, hair loss, crusting, and thickened skin, commonly around the ears, face, and neck.

It’s highly contagious but treatable. Early diagnosis and appropriate treatment can help keep your pig comfortable and prevent spread to other pigs. 🩺🐖

Lipoma removal ✂️🐶

This K9 came in with a lipoma, a common non-cancerous fatty growth that can develop under the skin. We remove these for client preference, or when they become large or cumbersome to the patient. While lipomas are typically benign, they can continue to grow or become uncomfortable, making surgical removal a great option.
