If I can’t work at this moment, I am stressed about not making money to live and temporarily getting supported by all of you! I’m working so hard at being present, and NOT worrying about the increased chances of having a major stroke. 14% of people my age have a major stroke in the 90 days after a TIA (mini stroke). I’ve got about 50 more days…
I’m getting mixed messages from my Doctors:

My Primary Dr says, “I shouldn’t work”, “you get very animated and passionate when you’re training with people and their dogs”. “BUT, you should be walking every day”… (She has trained two dogs with me…)
My Cardiologist says I shouldn’t “over exert” myself….
My Hospitalist said, “you really must lower the stress in your life and manage it better”

I think I’m doing a pretty good job at lowering my stress, but my financial/work situation AND my future health is so up in the air, it is exhausting me just attempting to sustain a present, consistently even keel!
My procedure/surgery (that may end up NOT being too invasive, but may HAVE TO become invasive) when they see my arteries with their own eyes, instead of my MRI’s, has been scheduled for Monday Oct. 7th….OY!🙏🤗🐾❤️

I am finally home again and SO GRATEFUL to still be in this world…. I will be able to slowly ramp up work in a couple of weeks, but have not worked very much in so long I’m in the worst financial state of my life! I truly hate being in a position to have to ask for help!! UGH!! THANK YOU for even considering donating….AND once again SO MANY THANKS to all of my friends, family, and former dog training students for ALL of your loving, kind words, AND all of your generous support!! I appreciate and LOVE YOU ALL!!!🙏🤗🐾🐕‍🦺❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Bo and Sam with their dog “Arrow”! (A very unusual and RARE Middle Eastern “Canaan Dog”!) They just finished their private one on one “Basic Education” sessions training downtown yesterday!
Congratulations guys! You were such a pleasure to work with!! 👍🤘💪🐾🙏❤️

Puppy Playtime! Pups have to “work” to get this privilege! Each week they must show us patience and some focus in order to get off of the leash - by doing for instance on Puppy Week 5: “Sit”-“Down” then “Settle” (a puppy version of “Stay”) They have to “Turn their engines off”! Then they get to go back and PLAY AGAIN for a second round... They then work AGAIN (commands depend on what week we are in) at the END of the short play session! Now your puppy has a way of experiencing calming down after getting excited playing and seeing that being rowdy and CHILLING OUT are potentially synonymous with each other!!

Here is my current puppy class on Tuesday evenings working on one of the many ways we begin to teach “Come” in helpful supportive ways that allows your puppy to have a FIRST, GOOD association with coming to you!!

My newly adopted 4 year old female a Landseer Newfie “Bubbie” eating from a snuggle mat for the first time tonight! This is a great way (of SO many)
to give your dog a constructive “predatory” outlet where she has to “work” and “problem solve” in order to eat the full portion of her dinner or breakfast! Since your dog must eat twice a day anyway, why not find ways to “give your dog a JOB” by finding ways to make them “search” to eat their meal....

This message is for ALL current dog training students of mine: I am making the decision to POSTPONE ALL classes for at least the next two weeks and for the next three days at least, all private in home training students as well...

Some of my students have compromised immune system issues. I am taking the Coronavirus VERY seriously.

This is a CARING & responsible move to do all I can to contribute my part in slowing down the spread of Coronavirus.

Please do not attack me or judge me harshly for this decision. If you aren’t taking this seriously, then you are contributing to the problem and very potentially hurting others.

Please try to be patient and caring to your fellow humans....This is what is needed now...

ALL DOG TRAINING WILL RESUME AS SOON AS IT IS DEEMED SAFE.... Thank You all for your patience and understanding! 😷😔🐾🙏❤️
