Both these pups are still looking for their forever home! Not same family, just combined their posts! Very different families and needs!

Little Ruby absolutely loves it here and enjoys your campers but she deserves her own forever person/people/home in her elder years! She loves dogs but would be just as content as an only kid and would love a lap of her very own!

And the big handsome guy is still looking for his forever! Is it you? Someone you know? He has a good foundation but needs a refresher and someone who can meet his sheppy needs!

Spread the word and lets get both these pups their needed new homes!

Two special dogs looking for their forever home! Not related and not from same home! Just using same post to spread word on both! Total opposite ends of spectrum in dog life and their needs!

Little Ruby, 15, yes 15!!! Looking for her forever lap to lay on! Don’t let her age fool you! Most days she acts like a young pup and enjoys having a dog friend! At her age who knows how long she has left but with no major glaring health issues (a few things of aging concern to note) she may have a week, month, year and would love to live out her days with her forever love! As much as she absolutely loves being a foster kid here at camp she deserves to live out her days in her forever home and be loved, spoiled, and adored in her elder years! Not that she isn’t here…and she loves so many of your campers but she still deserves her very own home and I know she will adjust well. If I had any concerns she would not I would not even be looking and just let her live out her days here at camp as many foster dogs have before her!

And the ever handsome male GSD! 4 years old! Needs an active home, strong leader, one who can give him all a sheppy needs for a fulfilling life! He is an amazing dog looking for his forever person! He will need a refresher on some basics and recall! Has some leash reactivity to work on. For his full write-up in more detail see my prior post from just a few days ago!

This handsome guy is a sweet, energetic ball of energy looking for his forever home.

From his current owner:
He is 4 years old, very athletic, loves to fetch, and be with his people. He does have some reactivity issues and doesn’t always do well meeting new dogs on a leash, but will usually do better with dogs than people. He also needs recall work and refresher in training.

We had another shepherd for a short time that didn’t like other dogs, but this boy was able to just play in the same vicinity as him, he had no issues being around him. He does have a few quirks when meeting new people, but we have a found a few tricks to make it easier. He has been around our toddler and does very well with her. He loves to roam, so we think he would do best with a family that has land he can roam or someone who is dedicated to walking him a few times a day with lots of fetch.

He would probably do best with a family with older kids or single person with lots of time for attention. He is a very sweet boy with a drive to work and protect his people.

Spayed, current on vaccs, crate trained, wonderful with kids, good with dogs, unsure on cats but I’m sure she’d be ok with that! A few health concerns to discuss! Little Ruby is 15 and would love to have her very own forever person!
