Hi, my name is Jessica Hollister. My entire life I have grown up in Northern Michigan where I’ve been surrounded by the outdoors, bird dogs, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and field trialing. My other passions include photography, videography, and the outdoors. In this video of the National Grouse and Woodcock Invitational I wanted to capture the total experience of the event and those competitors…handlers and dogs…who love this sport. One of my goals in the film is to help inspire others to learn more about this wonderful sport that means so much to me, my family, and my friends. Because of the primary and secondary growth habitat it’s very challenging to film in the grouse woods. The trees hadn’t yet leafed out, and it was easier to get the right light. I hope you enjoy the film as much as I had shooting it.
