Brrrr it’s cold outside!!

This is your friendly reminder to keep your fur babies safe during the cold weather. Try to limit outside.

Reminder dogs like Huskies, German Shepherd, New Foundlands, etc. do better because of their double coat. Dogs like French bulldogs, labs, etc. with shorter fur get colder faster. Also puppies and senior dogs shouldn’t be out for as long either!

Keep those happy tails warm 🐾

Winter safety reminder for pup parents! ❄️🐶
Cold weather can be dangerous for dogs and that’s why Happy Tails adjusts walk times, focuses on safe surfaces, checks paws for ice/salt, and keeps pups moving so they stay warm.
If you need consistent winter walks (especially during the workday), I’ve got you covered. Message me to join my weekly route!

🍂 Holiday Foods Your Dog Can & Can’t Have This Thanksgiving

As we head into the season of yummy plates and full bellies, here’s a quick guide to keep your pups safe during all the holiday snacking!

Safe:
• Plain Turkey (no skin, no bones, no seasoning)
• Pumpkin purée (NOT pumpkin pie mix)
• Green beans (plain, no butter or garlic)
• Apples (no seeds!)
• Sweet potatoes (plain & cooked)

Not Safe:
• Turkey skin, bones, or anything heavily seasoned
• Stuffing (garlic + onion are toxic!)
• Mashed potatoes loaded with butter, milk, or seasoning
• Chocolate desserts
• Grapes or raisins
• Anything containing artificial sweeteners (especially xylitol)

Keeping these in mind can help your furry friends enjoy the holidays right alongside you, without an emergency vet visit. 🫶🐶

🐾 Need an extra hand this holiday season?

Happy Tails offers:
• Daily dog walks
• Drop-ins
• Overnight pet sitting
• Holiday care (with limited spots!)

Whether you’re hosting, traveling, or just need help during the chaos I’ve got your pets covered with tons of love and attention. 💛
