This incredibly brave, handsome boy is Draper. He is an 8 yr old golden retriever with bilateral elbow dysplasia and biceps tendinopathy. We have treated him with laser and acupuncture with some success but for longer lasting relief we preformed a serious of Shockwave treatments. This is his 3rd treatment and he is a rockstar. Shockwave therapy's affects should last anywhere from 9 months to a year and then we repeat just a single treatment. We have seen great success with shockwave to treat a multitude of orthopedic issues.

The many faces of Archer as a BARC graduate. Archer is a 4 year old American Bulldog Mix who came to us 2 weeks post op for a TPLO( Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy) after tearing his CCL. Archer is a happy funny boy who has a zest for life and running that cannot be beat. He completed 8 weeks of rehab and still has work to do at home to be back to 100%. He was super fun to work with and such a happy boy. We wish him and his family the best.

Oliver is an almost 13 yr old shetland sheepdog who in feb 2025 had a rt forelimb amputation. His owners wanted him to live his best life and opted to order a special cart from Eddie's wheels. Kevin resembles a porcupine more than a frenchie while enjoying his lick mat and getting acupuncture to help treat his IVDD. Kevin is 8 years old and unfortunately we are seeing more and more IVDD in our frenchie friends. Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD) in French Bulldogs is a serious spinal condition where the cushioning discs between the vertebrae bulge or burst into the spinal cord space. It causes pain, nerve damage, wobbling, or paralysis, and requires immediate veterinary attention.Signs and Symptoms: sudden yelping or crying when picked up or touchedArched back or a stiff, tense belly, reluctance to jump, run, or climb stairs,dragging paws, unsteadiness, or weakness in the back legs,holding the head low or stiff neck if the issue is in the cervical spine. Frenchies are not the only canines prone to IVDD, a lot of our long backed short legged kiddos are predisposed. Give us a call let us help your family member get back to living their best life.

This magnetic handsome man is Eggsy. Eggsy has gone through it in his short 4 years. He has had both of his hips replaced, unfortunately his left hip replacement failed 2 years later, he did a second replacement that got infected and had to be removed. He now has an FHO, femoral head ostecomy. He comes to rehab weekly to regain muscle mass, learn his new normal with scar tissue holding his femur in place. He is such a trooper, loves everyone. He is a great addition to our bayside family
