Patience isn’t the same as standing still.
While you may grow impatient in waiting for the Lord, there’s still work to be done while we wait. There’re still responsibilities to tend to, lessons to learn, prayers to pray, and steps of faith to take.
James tells us to be patient, but he also tells us to establish our hearts.
Plant your feet. Settle your heart on what you know to be true, and to keep doing the work God has placed in front of you, even when you can’t yet see what He is doing with it.
We may not know how long the wait will be, but we know Who we’re waiting on and we know His timing is perfect.

Being a dad is less about simply teaching your children the things you know, and more about trying to show them how to live, how to love, how to follow God, how to work, and how appreciate the tings that truly matter.
At times it can be a difficult job, but it’s the greatest one I’ve ever been blessed with.

“A daughter needs a dad to be the standard against which she will judge all men.” ~Gregory E. Lang

Someday she probably won’t remember where every shot landed. But I pray she’ll always remember who was by her side her while she was learning, because I will.

I’m not sure she’ll ever know how many hard days she’s made better with that smile.

One day I won’t be standing beside her showing her where to hold, where to aim, or what to look for.
But until then, I’m going to soak up every chance I get.

I’ve been blessed to do some pretty incredible things in this life. But if you ask me what I’m most proud of, the answer isn’t complicated. It’s them.

🚨 another Prize 1 in the books 🚨
This little lady earning herself a Prize 1/108 in her NAVHDA International Natural ability test this weekend puts us at 3/3 for Small Münsterländers we’ve trained that have went on to earn a prize 1.
I’m especially proud of this one due to the hard work her and her owner Gene Hopkins put into getting her where they needed to be, especially since this was his first time handling a dog in a test.
My hats off to Pamela Robinson for producing such a nice little pup. And a huge thank you to team Hopkins and also gallantgundogs for having trusted us to work with their dogs before such important events.
The test season might be about over but there’s work never is and I’m excited to continue to help this little one reach her full potential!
