We see dogs and cats of all ages here—from playful puppies to wise old souls—and every one of them receives a thorough exam, just like Penny and Charlie. 🐶🐱

Our goal is always the same: to make sure your pets are feeling their best and getting the care they deserve. When they’re healthy, we celebrate with you—and when they’re not, we treat them like our own and worry right alongside you. ❤️

Happy Memorial Day!

We hope everyone is enjoying a relaxing day, good food, and time with loved ones! 🍔🌭

As you celebrate, remember to keep your pets safe—barbecue foods and fireworks can be tempting or stressful for them, so a little extra caution goes a long way 🐾

Our hospital is closed today, but we will reopen tomorrow from 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM.

Wishing you all a safe and enjoyable holiday! 💙

🐾 Tobi and Marnie came in a few weeks ago for their yearly nose-to-tail checkups! During their visits, they also stayed up to date on vaccines and had wellness bloodwork performed. 🩺💉 It’s always a great feeling to confirm our patients are happy, healthy, and thriving. ❤️ Great job to their family for keeping them on top of their preventative care! 🐶🐶

🐾 Pet Cancer & Arthritis Awareness Month 🐾

Just like people, as our pets get older, new health concerns can develop—often without obvious signs at home.

That’s why yearly exams (and bloodwork as pets age) are so important 💙

We’ve recently seen cases that highlight this:
• A 12-year-old dog who seemed perfectly healthy, but during an exam we noticed abnormal lung sounds. Follow-up X-rays revealed severe arthritis and other potential concerns.
• A 6-year-old dog who appeared completely normal, but routine bloodwork helped detect early stages of liver disease.

In both situations, early detection allowed us to begin supportive care and treatment. There are many medications available today to help manage arthritis, liver disease, and other age-related conditions—but timing matters.

If we catch issues early, we often have more options to help improve comfort and quality of life.

✔️ Yearly exams are essential for all pets
✔️ Consider annual bloodwork starting around 4 years of age to monitor trends and catch internal changes early

📞 Call us at 978-597-5828 to schedule your pet’s exam and help keep them healthy as they age.

Early detection can make all the difference 🐶🐱

Marley and Tobi came in last week for their yearly exams and were both such wonderful patients 🐾💕

Their parents do an amazing job staying on top of their care, making sure they get all their checkups and vaccines. We love seeing pets who are so well cared for — and pet parents who go the extra mile for them! 🩺✨

Great pets + caring families = the best kind of visits 😊🐶
