I had someone tell me that it is unsafe to bend down and give all the dogs affection because they will fight over you. I have been doing this for 13+ years now and have never had a fight over my affection. I dis-allow dogs from mouthing other dogs away and never pet a dog who is guarding me. I can always have dogs give space and stop biting. If it were unsafe to give affection I would be worried about sending my dog to that group! 😂

Our dog park run today!! Rosie, Fiona, Chili, Benjamin, Daisy, Loki and Luna!!

All nice play, friendly greetings, tons of fun running around, all the great sniffs! Absolutely loved this group. Way too much fun. We walked with so many other nice dogs and everyone got along SO well. I couldn't praise these guys enough after they had been such great dogs! 🥰❤️❤️☺️

Our Friday dog park run! Featuring Benjamin, Chili, Diasy, Ollie and newest addition Rosie the 4 month cattle dog mix! Rosie is defaulting to me so well as I introduced her with some special treats. Very good girl, social and so confident for such a young one! Listening better than most adult dogs at the park!

All these dogs are so nice at greeting and following me. Super proud of them. Lots of good vibes and great sniffs 🐕🐶🌲🐾

Some of our Wednesday social fun! When the puppy play and energy escalates, best they start biting the toys again! They were all cute playing tug and wrestling nicer after this.

Making sure every dog can drop and back off when needed is how we prevent any little spats. Having a group that knows each other well is also key. This group is absolutely wonderful together and I have to do very little moderating with them.

*Having a new dog engage in high energy play like this that has resource aggression or is concerned about their own safety or can't drop and back off is where you see issues*
