Hometown Hounds

I have openings for this upcoming week for baths or haircuts. If your doggies are like mine a deshedding bath will help with the coat change!
Every appointment this Oct enters into a free groom / bath drawing for Christmas season.

I had to cancel a few grooms when I was sick. A little update im still sick bronchitis turned into pneumonia. Its taking me forever to get better. I apologize to those waiting, this sickness couldn't have come at a worse time.
Don't hesitate to reach out we can make a future appointment but this week if I book appointments it will probably be last minute as I wait and see how the new prescription works for me.

My goal is to bring quality professional pet grooming to my clients in a friendly and inviting atmosphere. At HomeTown Hounds your pet is family.

I’m back! I have missed all my grooming clients and their pups and I’ve especially missed getting the opportunity to makeover some doggos. I took some time away from work to care for my kiddos and family members but now Life is finding its rhythm and its time for me to get back to doing what I love.

I love grooming and have been enjoying it for over 10 years now. Hometown Hounds doesn’t look like the vision I had for it when things first began but I now have 2 fantastic kids and I am so blessed! Many will have noticed that I sold the building I was previously working from and I wish the new owners great success. It is exciting to see the changes they are able to make!

I will be offering pet grooming from my home in Tovey , in a one on one basis. This is great for those fur kids who get anxious waiting at a noisy grooming salon for hours or do not do well in a cage. Your pet will receive one on one attention from me and be groomed start to finish.

My background working with fearful and challenging dogs in a vet clinic setting has shaped my passion for making the grooming experience as inviting and stress free for your pet as possible. Their comfort and safety are always my #1 concern and I strive to make every grooming session a positive one for you and your pet.

Grooming will be all inclusive; each dog will receive a bath, blow dry, ear cleaning and nails trimmed and filed plus their haircut. Deshedding and flea treatments will be done if needed and may incur additional fees.

Contacting me via facebook messenger is the best way to get ahold of me currently.

As most of you know I had been hoping to return from Maternity leave this week. However there was some unforseen troubles and I am in need of childcare before I can return.
I tried to contact the few folks I had prebooked but in the chaos that is having a newborn and toddler my work bag has vanished with my schedule book and work phone.
If needing to contact me please use messenger. I am trying to fit in a dog here and there if I can but at this time I have no set days or schedule.
So sorry to everyone, believe me I miss you all and all of your pups!
