🇺🇸 Fourth of July is Almost Here! 🎆🐾

As we get ready to celebrate with family, friends, and fireworks, don’t forget that our pets may not enjoy the festivities quite as much as we do.

Here are a few ways to help keep your furry family members safe:

🐾 Make sure your pet’s ID tags and microchip information are up to date!

🐾 Pick up any prescription refills before the holiday weekend.

🐾 Provide a quiet room with their favorite bed, toys, or treats.

🐾 If your pet struggles with fireworks or loud noises, contact us sooner rather than later to discuss options that may help keep them comfortable!

🐶💪 April is National Canine Fitness Month!
Just like us, our dogs need regular exercise to stay healthy, happy, and strong. This month is the perfect time to spring into fitness with your pup and build an active routine together!

Here are a few fun ways to get started:
🐾 Agility Exercises – Use small hurdles or bars and encourage your dog to crawl or move under them with a treat. Great for agility and cardio!
🎯 Target Training Games – Place targets on the ground and have your dog move from one to another. This improves focus, coordination, and body awareness.
⚖️ Balance & Core Work – Practice “sit to stand” with your dog’s front paws on a balance surface to help strengthen core muscles and stability.

Before starting any new fitness routine, be sure to check with your veterinarian to make sure your dog is healthy enough for conditioning exercises.
Let’s celebrate an active canine lifestyle all month long! 🐕✨

⏰ 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM (ends promptly)
📍 493 Winsted Road, Torrington, CT
💉 First-come, first-served
Vaccines available while supplies last.
⚠️ Clinic may close early if vaccines run out.
PLEASE READ BEFORE ATTENDING:
➡️ One line will form at the front door
➡️ Follow posted entry & exit signs
➡️ Enter through the front, exit through the back
➡️ A volunteer will provide a form to complete and sign
PET REQUIREMENTS:
🐕 Dogs must be on leashes (NO RETACTABLE LEASHES!)
🐈 Cats must be in a carrier
PROOF OF PRIOR VACCINATION:
📄 Written proof (valid rabies certificate only) required for a 3-year vaccine
➡️ Without proof, a 1-year vaccine will be given
🚫 The hospital will be open exclusively for the rabies clinic
📞 Phones will not be in operation
📅 Regular hospital services resume Monday, March 16, 2026
