No collar, no microchip.
He is safe at the shelter
1200 W Hwy 24 Torrey, Utah

He will be on a stray hold until 5/29/2026.
CCAW does not charge any fees to reclaim your pets. No government photo ID required. Proof of ownership includes vet records, photos with your pets, etc.

Help! These pups are looking for a cozy place to crash!

Fostering helps dogs decompress, learn about life in a home, and helps them have the best chance at finding a forever family.
Whether it's for a weekend, a few weeks, or until their adoption day, the team at CCAW and these sweet dogs would really appreciate it!

We provide supplies and support. You just provide a soft landing and gentle pets whenever your hands are free.

Gus Pupdate!

Over the last two weeks Gus has made so many new dog friends here at the shelter.

And, every day, he watches more of them leave…

He misses his friends, and he’s confused about why he can’t go with them.

We’re confused too, because with that huge, handsome face and ear to ear smile, we were sure he would have been adopted by now.

Today, two of our longest residents finally got adopted. ❤️

Wall-E and Wednesday, both with us since October, were adopted today after our community heard our call for help. These sweet souls waited month after month for someone to see them… and today, they finally got their happy endings.

To everyone near and far who shared their posts, commented, donated, rooted for them, and helped spread the word: thank you. Truly. These adoptions are proof that community saves lives.

Animal rescue can be heart wrenching sometimes. Watching animals wait for so long is never easy. But days like today remind us why we keep going.

To our supporters: thank you for helping us turn hope into home.

We will post updates from the families as we get them.

Meet beautiful Bella!

Bella is a 5 years old, and 50lbs of pure joy.

She’s so joyful in fact, that she has a condition called “happy tail” where she wags SO hard that her tail is constantly bleeding from the end! Bella will be having surgery to remove her tail this week, and after that she’ll be ready for her forever home.

Bella loves long walks, movie nights on the couch, playing with other dogs, and lots of smooches from her human companions.
