🚨 WELL… HERE WE ARE. WELCOME TO OUR NEW HOME! 🚨

If you’re seeing this — YOU FOUND US! 😂🐾

Due to circumstances outside of our control, our previous Humane Society page will be deleted in just 7 DAYS. The individual who originally created that page will no longer be working alongside our organization and has chosen not to relinquish the page to us.

So, rather than lose the community we’ve worked so hard to build… we packed up the dogs, wrangled the kittens, grabbed approximately 847 puppy pads and moved. 📦🐕🐈

Welcome to the NEW official page of the Humane Society of Harrison County! ❤️

Nothing about our mission is changing. Same organization. Same volunteers. Same animals. Same adoption posts, events, lost & found animals, emergency pleas, educational posts and behind-the-scenes chaos you’ve always followed us for.

We just need to find our people again.

We only have ONE WEEK before the old page disappears, so PLEASE help us spread the word. Follow this page, share this post, and invite your friends to follow us! Every single share helps reconnect us with someone who may otherwise wonder where we went.

We didn’t disappear.

We just got evicted from Facebook and brought all the animals with us. 😂🐾

Now help us fill this place back up. ❤️

WELCOME BACK, HARRISON COUNTY. LET’S KEEP GOING. 🐾

This is Ralpie in action. Please see previous post. Yes. He spilled the water.

07/08/2026

Ralphie is a 7 month old sheltie/shep mix (my best guess, no embark). As a very young puppy he suffered a severe head injury. As a result he has the attention span of a gnat, and is very clumsy(a bull in a china shop, if you will), he needs assistance with daily activities. He is a jolly, crate trained, loving goofball with a devil may care attitude. My pack and I taught him how to be a dog. We've been working on the good dog part. He sits, downs, leash staggers, loves his toys, other dogs, playing, barking at cats (I have 4 whose favorite past time is to annoy him). He's like an abusive big brother to the cats. He needs someone with patience, time, a fenced in yard, veterinary references, and a made and paid neuter, rabies, and dhlpp appointment. I've been his foster Mom for 3 months. He's had 3 dhlp-p vaccines, 2 lymes vaccines, and has been on heartworm, flea, and tick prevention continously. Please message or call me if you'd like to meet Ralphie! 740-381-0774.
