At Sud’s & Snoots, we’re big believers that a great coat starts at home - and it only takes two tools: a slicker brush and a comb. Here’s why this duo is our go-to:
The slicker brush🪮
• It’s fine, bent pins glide through the coat to remove loose fur, tangles, and mats before they become a problem.
• It stimulates the skin and spreads natural oils, leaving the coat shiny and healthy.
• perfect for fluffing up that fresh-from-the-groomer look and keeping it that way longer.
The comb🪮
• The comb is the detective of the grooming kit - it finds the tangles the brush might miss.
• It’s the best way to check for mats in sensitive spots like behind the ears, under the legs, and around the collar.
• A smooth pass with the comb tells you the coat is truly tangle-free, not just surface-smooth.
Why a clean, brushed coat matters:
