Late night Sunday Funnies anyone?! 😂😅

The plan was to post this around 9am, but am only just getting the task done… that’s a Sunday at the EAC for you!

The cone of shame… some patients handle their recovery gear more gracefully than others.

Hopefully none of our patients today also expected an ice cream cone!🍦🐾

Today is National Feral Cat Day! 🐈‍⬛

Thank you to everyone in our community who shows up for cats, especially the ones who don’t have a home to call their own. 🐾

🚑 ER Explained: How long should I wait before bringing my pet to the ER?

It’s one of the questions we hear often—and unfortunately, there isn’t always a magic number.

Swipe through to learn more about what to watch for, when not to wait, and when it’s okay to call and talk it through.

Have a question you’d like us to explain in a future ER Explained? Leave it in the comments! ❤️

😂 Sunday Funnies:

Apparently, not all markets are dog-friendly…

And with that in mind, just because there’s finally a little Fall in the air 🍂🍁 don’t be lax on your pet’s flea/tick prevention! Keep it up. 💪🏼 Happy Sunday from the EAC! 🐾

“It’s just one little bite!” 🌭😂

Famous last words.

Keep those cookout goodies away from your four-legged guests this Labor Day weekend - we’d much rather see you at the barbecue than at the ER. 🐾

A little professional development behind the scenes 🩺🐾

Some of our team recently spent a few days at Fetch Kansas City, learning from veterinary professionals from across the country.

From emergency medicine and surgery to pain management, feline medicine, new technology, and practical skills, conferences like this give our team the opportunity to keep learning, bring new ideas back to the EAC, and find a little sense of renewal through the camaraderie of so many of our peers.

Because veterinary medicine never stops evolving - and neither do we. ❤️

And yes, we do apologize for the disruption to our weekly Sunday Funnies due to our conference attendance. We promise the comics will return. 😅🐾
