I’m excited to announce I’m finally ready to start seeing new clients! Appointments will only be available via Zoom for the time being. I’ve had wonderful success working with clients virtually in the past and I can’t wait to help more families this way. A few of the benefits of working with me via Zoom:

* The price ($75) is more affordable than in person appointments ($90)
* There’s no stress to your dog if they struggle with having new people in their home
* We can be really focused in sessions and your attention won’t be divided between managing your pet and getting your questions answered
* If you don’t live in Topeka or if you’re getting ready to move we can still work together
* There’s no need for you to find childcare or drive to an appointment, you get professional help in the comfort of your own home

I’ve put this off as long as possible in hopes things would improve but unfortunately that hasn’t been the case. As some of you are aware I’ve struggled with chronic health problems for a number of years. Unfortunately since having my daughter my health has declined significantly. For the time being I will not be seeing new clients. For those of you who I’ve worked with in the past feel free to reach out if something comes up. I may be able to accommodate a virtual consultation. This has been an incredibly difficult decision but the safety of the dogs and people I work with is always my top priority. Currently I’m just not healthy enough to safely and consistently meet for private lessons.

Hello All,

As some of you are aware I’ve been dealing with a really challenging high risk pregnancy. There’s a lot of uncertainty about when our girl may make her arrival and if she may need some extra help when she gets here. My goal is to always make sure that people get the help they need and that I try to the best of my ability to always get people scheduled in a timely manner. I do not feel like I can continue scheduling new clients at this time in case baby decides to come early or I have additional complications. After our girl gets here and I can resume taking new clients I’ll be sure to give you all an update. Thank you so much for your understanding as I navigate this uncertain time!

I’m always looking for ways to make training accessible to more people and I know that cost can be a big barrier. My hope is that this webinar will offer people an affordable way to get important information if their dog is struggling. This webinar will also be beneficial for animal professionals like dog walkers, groomers, vet staff, and shelter workers/volunteers.

This will be a comprehensive presentation with time for questions at the end. In the future this will likely be broken up into several shorter webinars so this is a great value for the money. After the webinar concludes, I’ll be sending out an email that includes videos and additional resources in a Google Drive. The webinar will be recorded for later viewing and for those who cannot attend the live event.

Topics that will be covered:
-Reactivity to people and dogs
-Aggression with people or other dogs in the home
-Stranger danger in the home
-Aggression when being handled or groomed
