🎓🌟REHAB GRADUATES🌟🎓
🐾 Lucie came to rehab with osteoarthritis in her front and back legs in which made everyday activities a little more challenging than they should have been. Lucie benefitted from alternating from hydrotherapy to active land exercises and even did well with our land treadmill! Through patience, dedication, and plenty of hard work, Lucie has built strength, improved her mobility, and learned how to move more comfortably and confidently. Watching her progress from where she started to where she is today has been such a rewarding experience.
🐾Ash is a long-term rehabilitation patient who has been working hard on his recovery!
Last year, Ash underwent surgery for a torn cruciate ligament in his left hind leg. When one cruciate ligament is injured, there is an increased risk of injury to the opposite leg as well. Ash also unfortunately tore his cruciate in his right hind leg. Instead of surgery, we focused on strengthening the muscles that support his right hind limb through rehabilitation to be able to move and put weight on his leg more comfortably. Ash completed several hydrotherapy packages, designed to build strength, stability, and confidence in both hind legs.
We are so proud of all of these pets and their owners hard work and dedication!
