My name is Jenny Dove Maurer and I'm the owner of Noble Romans Dog Services.I've been working with dogs my entire life and come from an equestrian horse background. My passion for training and caring for dogs led me to create Noble Romans to provide dog owners with rewarding and healthy developmental relationships with their canines. We offer private and group training classes in basic to advanced

obedience,behavior mod and protection training.This includes all breeds and breed specifications. We offer private dog walks and structured walks which place specific attention on your dogs manners and obedience. And last but not least, our In home dog sitting and boarding. A few captures from our Obedience training class this morning at the park with Honey.
This 7 year old rescue is doing lovely work as she gets more acclimated to her new family and home.
Today we encountered small dogs and she remained calm and focused on us.
She presented with zero reactivity to them as well as the larger breeds running in the dog run, large groups of people out on the Pickleball courts,toddlers,kids, bicyclists and overall distraction.
I’m teaching her owners how to lead her in calm and confidence without speaking to her.
Also showing them how to put her on a heel to have her walk behind them, even when they stop and speak to people to make sure that she is positioned behind them.
This leadership role is so important and since Dogs are masters at reading body language, we need to be taught how and where we need to stand and how to be mindful over our physical actions.
The next test will be to bring in one or two small dogs and to work her with them one on one.
In 5 sessions we are seeing good results!

Puppy Exposure and Socialization Class today at Noble’s with Beau and Finn.
Both of these great pups need a tad more exposure work to reach their goal of calmness when seeing other dogs either in their perspective neighborhoods or at a store,shop or anywhere else out and about.
This exposure takes time and is an important aspect to maintain properly as your puppy continues to grow.
Calm assertiveness is a key component of a healthy dog alongside a great obedience base and relationship they have already built with their owners.

We are pleased to welcome Honey to Noble’s for obedience training.
This 7 year old rescue is learning how to walk properly with her owners without any pulling, insecurity and reactivity.
One of her owners needs extra stability for his balance,so Honey must be extra aware of his space to follow his lead.

It’s always wonderful seeing a former trainee.The proof really is in the pudding for if the training has adhered properly and my puppies have matured well,there’s no denying it.
Yesterday I spent the day with Enzi and she was seamless.
An important aspect of raising a puppy is for owners to remember that puppies do develop over time and to remain patient while keeping up with their exercise and training.
A great dog doesn’t grow out of thin air.
A great dog is nurtured and valued within a relationship that you help create.

Pack Walks have officially begun!
The Girls were an excellent pairing and after the pack walk we had 30 minutes of structured play.
All of the pups are trained by Noble’s and carefully matched and vetted for safety.
