LBR had the honor in participating in Myrtis Dightman Sr rodeo during Labor Day weekend and I couldn’t be happier with the results! If the boys placed top 5 in their events they would be moving on to VEGAS‼️From great interviews to even braver acts of courage my boys proved that they are ready to step up their game!
My bull riders are use to steers no bigger than 6/700 pounds…..well the smallest one they rode was about 1100‼️‼️‼️ Overcoming the mental aspect of riding one that big at the age of 11 and 12 can be tough but they showed no fear, mounted up and stuck their chest out with honor. We didn’t get the full 8 second ride but they proved to me that they are ready to ride no matter what size the bull is!

The documentary will be out in February 2022 so stay on the lookout for that link when we drop it!
I’m honored to coach kids that truly love the sport of rodeo and will work as hard as it takes to become a future champion. Ryder Johnson, Major Berthia and the Henderson brothers will be CHAMPIONS & honestly in my book they already are!
Huge thanks to Myrtis Dightman Sr and all the other African American Cowboys for all the barriers they broke so my boys can be out their participating today! Without their sacrifices we wouldn’t be here!
They don’t teach our history in school so we must show them outside of it!
