Kindred Spirit Primitives

Kindred Spirit Primitives craft business Doug and I live on 20 acres in the beautiful rolling hills of western Wisconsin. We have 2 adult children, 4 cats and a dog.

We started our business when I decided to be a stay at home Mom. We started doing local craft shows and the business has snowballed from there. A few years ago, I started designing my own doll patterns and making limited edition dolls. Doug is a wonder in the wood shop. He designs all his own patterns and creates beautiful birdhouses, benches, stools and cupboards. We also have great wooden signs

that we both have a hand in creating. Our children are also a big part of our business. Although they are both very active with school and work, they still have time to make things and help out where they can. We still do a few craft shows in the area and open our home twice a year for a "Open House".

One of today’s projects….. I painted a few more spun Cotton pumpkin ornaments and just finished grung-ing them. Now to let them dry for a couple hours on the porch.
