It took some work today to dig out our horses paddock to make it safe. Our horses have been stuck inside for 2.5 day as a historic blizzard hit Northern Michigan. We think around 4 feet of snow hit our area.

After 2 hours, we were finally able to dig our horses and mini donkey out so they could enjoy their paddock again. We had an estimated 4 feet of snow over 2.5 days so they are definitely ready for some freedom.

Sometimes we only show the "pretty" and easy parts of moving and making big changes. The last few days, Daniel and I did some pretty big renovations on the old barn to get ready for our move. So proud of Daniel for all the work he did from ripping out an old meat locker frame to building stall walls for the donkeys. My mom also spent hours helping from cleaning to painting the feed and tack room walls. Team effort with some pretty amazing results.
