We can offer low-cost spay/neuter prices because private donations and grants help off-set the true, higher cost of spay/neuter procedures. Humane Ohio believes that all animals should receive the highest quality veterinary care possible even if the services rendered are at a reduced cost. Our clinic uses state of the art instruments and equipment, all spay/neuter surgeries are performed by licensed veterinarians (DVMs) and every patient receives a brief physical exam and pain medication.

This one-year-old girl is full of s***k, personality, and FUN. Leslie is young, curious, playful, and always ready to see what kind of adventure she can get herself into next.

She’s got that perfect young cat energy that keeps you laughing, but she’s also more than ready to settle into a home where she can be loved, spoiled, and fully appreciated for the little character she is. She would do well in just about any home!

Just a quick heads up! 📢

Our clinic will be closed on Monday, September 7th in observance of Labor Day.

We will reopen for normal clinic hours on Tuesday, September 8th, and we will respond to emails and messages when we return.

If your pet recently had surgery with us and you have an urgent post-op concern while we are closed, please refer to your post-op surgery paperwork for the after-hours number.

For any other medical needs or emergencies, please contact your regular full-service veterinarian or one of our local emergency veterinary clinics.

Our van got a makeover!

Megan Jurek, , the cartoonist behind the mural in our dog exam room, also generously designed our new van wrap. Every animal featured in the design belongs to one of our staff members; some of them have even passed onto the rainbow bridge.

A huge thank you to Megan for taking the time to create something that celebrates the pets we love so much and gives us the chance to show them off around town.

And thank you to Equipt Graphics Solutions - Toledo for doing such a fantastic job bringing the design to life on the van. We are so happy with how it turned out!

Our original 3PM Purr-arium Workshop sold out in less than 24 hours, so we added a second workshop at 4PM and there are still a few spots waiting to be claimed!

Join us and Plant House - Toledo to create your own self-sustaining, closed terrarium complete with adorable cat-themed decorations. And if you've ever wanted plants your cat can't destroy, this is your chance!

15 years. A whole lot of animals. And one very special vet tech.

Today marks 15 years since Tiffany officially joined the Humane Ohio team, but her story here actually started a little earlier. She first walked through our doors as an intern, and before long, we knew we wanted to keep her. She accepted a full-time position as a veterinary technician and, 15 years later, she’s still here.

What makes that even more special is that Humane Ohio is the only clinic where Tiffany has ever worked as a vet tech. She has spent her entire career dedicated to spay/neuter and helping make veterinary care more accessible to the animals and families in our community.

Over the years, Tiffany has grown from intern to Lead Veterinary Technician, becoming an important part of just about everything that happens behind the scenes at our clinic. When a day gets hectic or a situation gets stressful, Tiffany is often the calm, steady presence in the room. She knows this work, she knows this clinic, and she cares deeply about doing right by every animal who comes through our doors.

Today, we get to celebrate her! We’re treating our staff to a taco bar, showering Tiffany with some well-deserved gifts and taking a little time to celebrate everything she has given to Humane Ohio over the past 15 years.

Happy 15th Humane Ohio anniversary, Tiffany. Thank you for growing up with us, growing with us and giving 15 years of your career to this mission. We’re very lucky to have you, and we’re looking forward to the next 15!

**Adopted! Make sure to check out our other cats & kittens!**

Mr. Winker made his 13abc debut this morning, and we think this handsome little guy handled his moment in the spotlight pretty darn well!

At just 4–5 months old, Mr. Winker may be missing an eye, but he certainly isn’t missing any charm. He is a tender-spirited, affectionate kitten who loves attention and has plenty of love to give. He can be a little cautious at first, so slow introductions and a family willing to give him time to settle in would be best. Once he feels comfortable, though, his sweet and loving personality really comes through.
