Our mission is to foster and promote off-leash opportunities for dogs in the greater Toledo area and provide support to organizations who benefit the pet community, bringing together both dogs and humans alike for the purposes of socializing, networking, and maintaining a positive community image.

🐾 GLASS CITY DOG PARK FAQ! 🐾

Thinking about joining Glass City Dog Park? Here are answers to some of the questions we hear most often!

🐶 Is the park open to everyone?
Yes! Anyone can become a member as long as their dog meets the membership requirements. The park is members-only, with access through a key card.

💲 How much is membership?
Annual membership is $50 for up to two dogs. Additional dogs are $10, and new members pay a one-time $5 key card fee. Memberships run February 14–February 13 each year.

💉 What does my dog need to join?
Dogs must be:
• At least 6 months old
• Spayed or neutered
• Legally licensed
• Up to date on required vaccinations
• A member of your family for at least 2 months
Veterinary records are required as part of the application process.

🌳 What do I get with my membership?
Unlimited access to our fenced, off-leash park from dawn to dusk, plus a key card for entry and invitations to special member events!

🐕 Are there separate areas?
Yes! The park has multiple fenced areas, giving dogs plenty of room to run, play and make some four-legged friends.

👧 Can children come into the park?
For the safety of both kids and dogs, children under 14 are not permitted inside the dog park. Handlers must be 18 or older.

🦴 Can I bring treats or food?
No. Food is not permitted inside the park.

📍 Where are you located?
Glass City Dog Park is located at 1171 Woodsdale Ave. in Toledo, near the Toledo Zoo and Woodsdale Park.

❤️ Where does my membership money go?
Membership fees help support the operation and upkeep of the park so our dogs can continue to have a safe, clean place to run and socialize.

💵 $5 CASH admission per dog — all proceeds benefit the Glass City Dog Park! ❤️

Dogs will swim by size:
🐾 Small Dogs (0–30 lbs): 12:30–1:45 PM
🐾 Medium Dogs (30–65 lbs): 2:00–3:30 PM
🐾 Large Dogs (65+ lbs): 3:45–5:15 PM
(Come at time that corresponds to your largest dog.)

We're looking for new Board Members to join Toledo Unleashed, the nonprofit organization that operates Glass City Dog Park! 🐾

We're especially looking for people with experience in:
* • 📣 Marketing & communications
* • 🌿 Grounds, landscaping, or park maintenance
* • ❤️ Nonprofit organizations (a plus, but not required!)

The most important qualification? A genuine love for dogs and a desire to support the park and the community that enjoys it.

Board members use Slack for communication and collaborate throughout the year to support the park’s operation. We also hold monthly board meetings.
