👋 Hey Everybody! 👋

The hard-working owners of Open Oaks are going to be out of cell phone service the majority of this week, de-stressing and adventuring in their favorite place!

Don’t worry- Tara will still have service off and on and will do her best to make sure to get back to everyone, but we appreciate your extra patience this coming week as responses will be delayed- but please know, we are more or less fully booked for this week and texts and calls will be responded to in the order they come in so you’re not missing any openings, we promise!

If you know us at all, you know Tara is ALWAYS working and although she’s tried and made improvements, her work/life balance skills still need some work. This is the only trip that Tara and Ryan take where she literally can’t man the phones 24/7 (which she does even when she shouldn’t just in case something urgent comes through).

Thank you guys for your support and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we get some time to reset and come back well rested and fulfilled and ready to give you guys the best service in Toledo!

Kellie barely ever has any openings, and getting on her books is a feat! She is currently accepting new clients that are small dogs only and no doodles, and only in certain areas.

Brecken is currently taking commissions for her hand made digital portraits. She just graduated with a BFA in digital art and she just so happens to be Ryan’s (not so baby anymore) cousin. All of her work is 100% AI free and created by hand in Clip Studio Paint. Want to know our favorite thing about her work? She does pet portraits as well! 🐶

🚨 We have several upcoming openings in mobile! 🚨

By some weird fluke, both Em and Kellie have several openings on their books (in certain areas) in the coming week. If you’ve been wanting to give our mobile grooming a try, now is the time! After next week, we have pretty much no openings until the end of July, so now is your best chance!

Things you should know to help you decide before you book with us:

🐾 We book mobile grooming by location, so there may not be an opening in your area (but it’s worth a try!)
🐾 Haircuts for small dogs start at $85. Standard sized doodles start at $120. Baths start at $50 for small dogs, Pitties start at $65 and labs start at $70- just to give you an idea of our price range.
🐾 Our mobile units are fully outfitted, but depending on weather, we may need access to an outlet to plug in our extension cord.

Do you have waaaay too much shedding hair all over everything- your floors, your furniture, your bed, yourself?

We’re here to help!

Our summer special is back with a splash! We are offering bath time with Ellie de-sheds for ultra low prices- to give you AND your pup some relief from all that freely flowing hair!

This offer is only good for in shop appointments and in shop appointments are by appointment only. Limited availability.

Flat, Short Coated Dogs (Boxers, Pits, some Labs, Pointers, etc): $25
Double Coat Mixed Coated Dogs (Aussies, Small Goldens, Huskies, Shepherds, Border Collies, Etc): $30-$35

This includes the bath, de-shed, nail trimming and grinding, and ear cleaning. It does not include any trimming.

The following breeds are not eligible for this service: Samoyed, Newfoundland, Rough Coat Collie, Saint Bernard, Longhaired German Shepherd, and similar breeds.

Did you know that YOUR pup could look this good?

This is Max and he’s here to tell you that the word is getting out that our in-house groomer, Amanda, is one of the best in the area and she’s booking out about a week ahead now- but don’t worry! We are still accepting new clients in our shop with Amanda, so get in while the getting is good!

We do also have limited availability for new clients in mobile depending on location and size of the dog. It doesn’t hurt to ask- and we do offer a waitlist!
