** TEAM POST ** … (and yes, I’m yelling)!! It’s time to brag on the team.

EVERY member of Team HPH brought home a check from the STRCHA show in Buffalo, TX. 🔥🏆 Including Chase Reed, bringing home his first NRCHA check 🎉

That's right - every rider!! The hard work is paying off, and we're incredibly proud of what this team continues to accomplish together.

Let's take a look at the results! 🐴💰

Chase Reed -

✨ Lil Texas Royalty “Lily” - 4th in the L1 Derby, marking a 70 in the reining and a 71 down the fence.

✨ Shining Step Petunia “Petunia” - this was only her second time to town and we are super proud of her and Chase, both. The pair of them get along like 2 peas in a pod. No, wait.. that’s Casey & Chase. And Petunia too!

✨ Next Gen Shine “Next Gen” -
The moment you realize that you had an awesome run going.. but you just over spun 🤦‍♂️It happens to everyone, but you bet we gave him a hard time! We look forward to watching Chase and Next Gen at the next one.

Long post warning, but worth it)!

We’ve been insanely busy around the ranch, but these results are too good not to share. ** We’re going to mix things up a little and post the team results separately, but first, let’s take a look at the week Casey put together at the STRCHA show in Buffalo, TX.

To say he had a good week would be an understatement. 🔥🐴🏆

🏆 Sequoias Merada “Sherman” - Came to town ready to work!
1st - Open Bridle with a 74.5 in the reining and a 73 down the fence. Why stop there? He also claimed Championships in the Intermediate Open Bridle, Limited Open Bridle, and L1 Open Bridle.

🏆 Merada Likes Cash “Merada” - 1st in the L1 Open Derby, and while she’s still figuring out those mare hormones, they certainly didn’t slow her down! 🐴💕

🏆 Metallic Talks “Talker” - 2nd in the L1 Open Derby, giving the Hidalgo crew both the Champion and Reserve Champion spots in the class. To top it off, Talker earned the high score in the fence work.

🏆 Hotchi Red Cat “Hotchi” - Tied for 5th in the L1 Open Derby. We continue to see more and more from Hotchi with each show, and we’re excited to see what the future holds for him!

If we had to choose one word to describe the SRCHA Wild Rag, it would definitely be growth.

Growth from where we ended at the last show…
to where we were at this one…
and the growth we’ll carry into the next. 🔥🐎

🏆 Derby –

Casey Hidalgo

• Metallic Talks “Talker” marked the high score in the fence work with an impressive 220.5.

• Merada Likes Cash “Merada” is finally coming out of her teenage years and marked her personal best fence score with a 217.

• Hotchi Red Cat “Hotchi” — this was only Hotchi’s second show with us. Although they didn’t place, we’ve seen tremendous progress and are excited about where he’s headed.

• Walkin In A Haze “Woody” had a solid herd work, marking a 213.

🏆 Chase Reed

• Lil Texas Royalty “Lilly” and Chase are really starting to figure each other out, and their growth from the last show truly showed in this week.

• Next Gen Shine “Next Gen” — this was Chase’s first time showing Next Gen, and we felt they had a really great show together.

Open Bridle –

🏆 Casey Hidalgo

• Sequoia’s Merada “Sherman”
Show 1:
🥇 1st in the L1 Open
🥈 2nd in the Limited Open
🏅 9th in the Open

Show 2 brought a little tough luck, finishing 9th in the L1 Open Bridle.

Sherman has always been a special horse to us, and he’s definitely proving himself. ❤️

⭐ Our Non-Pro Team made us proud! ⭐

🏆• Michelle Stegenga and Reyzin To The Blue “Blue” marked their highest boxing score yet.

🏆• Charles “Ed” Fessler and Dealz A Deal “Dealer” continue growing together each and every show. We can’t wait to see where they’ll be by the end of the year.

🏆• Salina Danley and Marshall had a great first show back. Selina is training Marshall while riding with HPH.

This turned into a long show update, but we wanted to make sure everyone got included. We know some of y’all follow specific horses and riders along the journey. ❤️
