i’ll be at the grooming expo of course, my favorite weekend of the year, so i’ll be closed sep 11-13! i’ll never stop learning and finding sweet gifts and treats to spoil my friends!
i’m getting a lot of no shows lately….
I completely understand that things come up unexpectedly, and I truly hope everything is okay.
I just want to remind you that appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice are subject to my cancellation policy. I send this message to all clients so the policy is clear and consistent.
For this appointment, this is your [first/second/third] occurrence, so the applicable fee is [$20/$40/full].
When I’m given at least 24 hours’ notice, I can usually fill the appointment from my waiting list. Without that notice, I lose that appointment time and the income that comes with it, which is very difficult for a small business.
If you’d like to reschedule, you’re welcome to do so through the app. Please keep in mind that we may be booking 2–3 weeks out due to our current schedule.
Thank you for understanding and respecting my time and my small business. ❤️
It’s hard enough keeping these doors open without losing so much income from missed appointments. ❤️
If you’re a regular client who doesn’t normally do this, and you have a true emergency and reach out to me without me having to chase you down, of course I’m going to be understanding. Life happens, and I know that! I’m a human being too, and I’m not trying to make anyone’s life harder.
But if you’re someone who repeatedly doesn’t show up, doesn’t contact me, and then doesn’t even answer when I reach out afterward to see what happened — that’s a different story.
At that point, not only have I lost the income from your appointment, but you’ve also taken a spot away from someone on my waiting list who would have gladly been there.
And honestly… that’s just rude. 😂
If you completely ghost me after a no-show, I will block you from booking through the site permanently. I simply can’t continue taking that loss, especially when I have so many wonderful, loyal clients who value my time and would love to get in sooner.
Thankfully, I have some of the BEST clients around, and I’m so grateful for you guys! ❤️ You’re the reason I’m able to keep doing what I love and keep these doors open.
This policy is for the people who take advantage of my time — not my loyal clients who communicate with me and treat my business with the same respect I give them. 🐾❤️
💰 A Small Price Update
I also want to give everyone a heads-up that prices will be increasing by $5.
I know nobody likes a price increase — including me! But unfortunately, the cost of everything I use to take care of your babies continues to go up. Grooming products, shampoos, supplies, sharpening, equipment, and all the little things that go into running a grooming business keep getting more expensive, especially around this time of year.
I have tried my best to keep my prices as low as I possibly can for as long as I can, but eventually the numbers have to make sense to keep the doors open.
BUT — I want to give a little something back to the clients who keep their babies on a regular schedule! ❤️
If you come back for your next groom within 5 weeks, the additional $5 will be waived! 🎉
Consider it my little thank-you for keeping your babies spoiled, fluffy, and on a regular grooming schedule! 🐶❤️
So basically:
Groom within 5 weeks → NO $5 increase! 🥰
Over 5 weeks → regular new pricing applies. This will keep the dogs fresh, that’s always my goal!
Thank you all for continuing to support my small business, trusting me with your babies, and helping me keep these doors open. I truly appreciate every single one of you! ❤️ my prices still should be below market and as far as i know, best in town, i don’t wanna do this, id do this for free, but just like all of you are facing, prices just keep going up, personal life and with all the products, i use top of the line stuff, that i feel is best for the dogs, and would rather close down than use stuff that is cheap and possibly harmful, ty to all that understand
sadly if the world keeps going up, u can expect my prices and everyone else’s to go up, usually happens around sep-dec for whatever reason, all groomers seem to be doing it the last few years! it’s not fun, my least fav part of the job, im sorry! i’ll do whatever it takes to keep the doors open, and this is it at the moment!
much love
