🐾📏 Growing puppies = growing weights! Meet Yeti! 🤍 This adorable boy came in for a quick weight check so we could make sure he was in the right range for his next dose of NexGard PLUS.

Regular weight checks are especially important for puppies because they can grow (and gain weight!) surprisingly fast. 💕 Keeping their weight up to date helps us make sure they receive the appropriate size of parasite prevention so it can work effectively against fleas, ticks, heartworms, and intestinal parasites.

So, if you have a growing puppy, don’t forget to keep up with those weight checks! And let’s be honest… we’ll never complain about getting to see those puppy faces along the way. 🥰🐶

Sweet little Misa stopped by for her Low-Dose Dexamethasone Suppression Test (LDDST) to help us evaluate her for Cushing’s disease. 💙🐾

An LDDST is a specialized blood test that helps diagnose Cushing’s disease by measuring how your pet’s body responds to dexamethasone over several hours. If your pet has been experiencing increased thirst, increased urination, a bigger appetite, panting, or changes in their coat, it’s worth scheduling an exam with your veterinarian.

Misa was the sweetest patient during her visit, and we’re proud to help her family get the answers they need. Wishing this adorable girl all the best! 💕

Merlin came in to see us for his kitten exam, and he quickly made himself right at home! Between his exam and plenty of playtime with his brand-new toy, he kept our team smiling from start to finish.

Routine kitten visits are an important part of helping your newest family member grow into a happy, healthy cat. If you’ve recently welcomed a kitten into your home, give us a call to schedule their first visit—we’d love to meet them! 🩺🐾

This handsome boy came to see us after experiencing some vomiting, but he was feeling well enough to enjoy some playtime with one of our technicians while he was here. We love seeing our patients’ personalities shine through, even on days they’re not feeling 100%.

If your pet is experiencing vomiting, diarrhea, decreased appetite, or other tummy troubles, don’t wait to have them evaluated. Stomach issues can range from mild to serious, and early treatment can help your furry friend feel better faster.

We hope you’re back to feeling your best soon, Doug! 💙🐶

Rocco understood the assignment: checkup ✔️ treat ✔️ new toy ✔️ 🐾💙

Rocco stopped by to update some of his WellCare items and was the very best patient! As an added bonus, his family took home a fun new toy after purchasing a full year of NexGard PLUS. 🎉

Did you know? Purchasing a 12-month supply of flea, tick, heartworm, and intestinal parasite prevention helps keep your pup protected year-round without worrying about missed doses. Here in Florida, consistent prevention is one of the best ways to keep your pet healthy no matter the season.

We hope you have a blast with your new toy, Rocco! 🦴💙🐶

Today, sweet Navi stopped by to donate blood to help another dog in need of a blood transfusion. Just like people, dogs sometimes need blood products during emergencies, surgeries, or to treat certain illnesses—and generous donors like Navi make those lifesaving treatments possible.

We’re so proud of this brave pup for giving another dog a second chance. Thank you, Navi, for being such a good girl and a true hero! 🐾❤️

Scooter stopped by for his annual wellness visit, and we have to admit… we’re a little obsessed with that adorable underbite! 🐶💙

Annual exams are one of the best ways to keep your pet healthy. Even when they seem happy and feeling great, these yearly checkups allow us to monitor their overall health, catch potential concerns early, keep vaccines up to date, and answer any questions you may have.

Scooter was an absolute sweetheart, and we loved seeing that signature smile! We can’t wait to see him again next year. 🩺🐾

🎆 Fourth of July is almost here! 🎆

While we may enjoy fireworks and celebrations, many of our pets find the loud noises and bright flashes frightening and stressful. If your pet has a history of anxiety during fireworks, now is the time to prepare.

Signs of firework anxiety can include:🐾 Pacing🐾 Trembling🐾 Hiding🐾 Excessive panting🐾 Vocalizing🐾 Attempting to escape

Additionally, if your pet is microchipped, please take a moment to make sure their registration is up to date with your current phone number and address. If a scared pet tries to flee, accurate microchip information can greatly increase the chances of a speedy return home.

If your pet struggles with fireworks, give us a call today to discuss the best options for them. Together, we can help make this Independence Day a little less stressful and a lot more comfortable.

🇺🇸 Don’t wait—request refills and anxiety medications as soon as possible!

This adorable little guy came in to finish up his puppy vaccine series and make sure he’s staying healthy as he grows. During his visit, Joshua’s family also had a question about a common (but not-so-pleasant) puppy habit—eating his own stool, also known as coprophagia.

While it can be alarming for pet parents, this behavior is actually fairly common in puppies. It can be related to curiosity, learned behavior, boredom, or simply finding something they think tastes interesting. In most cases, it’s more of a nuisance than a medical concern, but it’s always worth discussing with your veterinarian to rule out underlying health issues and talk about ways to discourage the behavior.

The good news? Many puppies outgrow this habit with consistent training, prompt cleanup, and plenty of mental and physical enrichment.

Joshua was a perfect patient, and we’re so proud of him for completing his puppy boosters! 🎉💙
