Registration is officially LIVE for our Howl-o-ween Paint Pawty benefiting Duke Dog’s Den! 👻🐶

Join us Thursday, October 1 from 6–8 p.m. at Space Coast Ceramics for an evening of painting, treats, Halloween fun, and, of course, a visit with some of the pups of The Den!

🎨 Registration is just $10, and every penny of that goes directly to Duke Dog’s Den. You’ll also choose and purchase whichever ceramic piece(s) you’d like to paint that evening, and Space Coast Ceramics is generously donating 20% of those sales back to The Den, too! ❤️

So basically, you get to paint cute stuff, hang out with senior dogs, AND help support their care. We consider that a pretty excellent way to spend a Thursday night. 🎃🐾

Our friends at Space Coast Ceramics are generously hosting this fun-filled evening and will donate 20% of all ceramic sales that night directly to The Den.

Every $10 registration fee goes directly to Duke Dog’s Den to help provide care for our senior and hospice dogs.

Since March, I’ve had the absolute privilege of being Eddie’s pet sitter. He and his mom have been in Titusville while she worked at Parrish Medical Center (traveling nurse).

Today was my last visit with him before they go back home and I was so happy to see that he made Pet of the Month at Dream Space Coast where they are staying. They made up a bag for him filled with treats and toys. So cute!

Thanks for all the fun Eddie. Safe travels to you and your mom and hope to see you when you’re back in town. ❤️🐶

Yesterday, we said goodbye to one of my longtime Wags to Whiskers pack members, Hayley. For the past four years, I had the privilege of being her pet sitter, treat giver, and one of the people lucky enough to love her. Somewhere along the way, she became more than a client. She became family.

Hayley was also an honorary Golden Girl, spending plenty of time hanging out at Duke Dog's Den. She fit right in with the ladies, and I know they were happy to share their little corner of the world with her.

Today, I added Hayley's photo to the Rainbow Bridge Memorial on my website. It's a place I never enjoy updating, but one that exists to honor dogs who made the world a kinder, happier place simply by being themselves.

Thank you, sweet Hayley, for four wonderful years. Thank you for every wag, every smile, every welcome at the door, and for trusting me to be a small part of your life.

Run free, beautiful girl. There will always be a place for you in my heart.

🌴 Out of Office: September 5-13 🌴

For the first time in... I honestly can't remember how long... I'm doing something a little different.

If you know me, you know saying "no" to my clients is about as easy as saying no to one more dog cuddle. But this year, I'm taking my entire birthday week (plus a couple extra days) completely off from both jobs and giving myself permission to unplug, recharge, and spend some uninterrupted time with my own pups and the Golden Girls of The Den. ❤️

No big plans yet, but if there's one thing I know, it's that there will be plenty of wagging tails, naps (so many naps!), treats, and making memories with my favorite old souls.

If you think you'll need a pet sitter during September 5-13, send me a message or text. I'm happy to recommend some wonderful local pet sitters who may be able to assist with your pets while I'm away.

Thank you all for understanding and for supporting not only my small business, but also my mission with Duke Dog's Den. I'll be back refreshed, recharged, and ready for more adventures with your amazing pets.
