Turkeys have 5,000 to 6,000 feathers, and each feather is controlled by a muscle that contracts to control the feather position. It’s exciting (and time consuming) to work on these birds and let each customer pick how they want the feathers placed!

Next batch of whitetail prepped and ready to mount. You will hear from me (Katie) when your deer is prepped which means about 4 weeks from pick up. We try to get things done as quickly as possible while still delivering the best quality. It’s a long process, and we appreciate your patience.

We spent 4 days in Indiana, PA at the PA Taxidermy Association’s Convention and Competition. Micah entered 5 pieces in the competition and was awarded four 2nd place medals in the professional division and a 1st place ribbon in the commercial division. A great result for only his 2nd year competing.

European Mounts - last drop of 2025 is TUESDAY - December 23. If you’ve been hanging on to a skull, make sure we have it by Tuesday at 11 AM (or Monday if it needs skinned).
