I produced this animal a few years ago out of Duchess x Cigar. What gene could be at play here 🧬? Mom had some texture to her, dad was a normal orange Lilly white. Most of the kids have some texture, Lilly and non Lilly, but this is the most I’ve seen it expressed out of any offspring. It looked like a pretty normal/standard LW as a hatchling. Interesting to say the least! What are your thoughts? 🦎🧬

Every North American Reptile Breeders Conference show reminds me exactly why I love being a part of this hobby.

It’s never just about buying and selling geckos. It’s about catching up with old friends, meeting incredible new people, watching kids light up when they hold a gecko for the first time, and seeing all of the amazing new morphs and projects everyone has been working on.

The passion this community has is something special, and every show leaves me feeling inspired to come home and keep pushing my own projects even further. I’m most excited to add a new fire gene to my collection from Geckos Are For Lovers 🔥🔥🔥

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by the NCScales table, shared stories, picked up a new gecko, or simply came over to say hello. Your support truly means the world.
