You might have start to notice pet stores carrying less CBD products. 😱

That is because Oregon has passed a bill making it to where most Cannaboid h**p products sold to Oregon consumers need to be registered with the Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commision ( OLCC )

Pet stores right now are limited with what we can carry due to the companies still being in the process of getting registered. We will do our best in finding alternatives for your pet that are state compliant. 🐶

If anyone or any pet you know using CBD products are unaware of this change I encourage you to share this news with them so they can work around it accordingly!

For the people interested on how you can check to make sure what you are getting is state complaint ( retail or consumer ) here is there registery website. If you have any questions regarding the bill we encourage you to reach out to them. They have been wonderful with repsondse times.

We have been having some pets leave this store super happy with their new outfit! 👗😍
Wild Fae Art has been taking strides in creating a diverse selection of apparel for your pets. Right now she makes vests, dresses, summer hats, and ties! At our store we carry anywhere from XXS - XL but if your pet needs specific measurments she can custom make it to your liking!
A fun fact about this creator is they use fabric that they upcycle 🌏 These fabrics get life put back into them with her creativity and skill.

Oregon Health Authority is reminding the public that we are entering the season for harmful algae blooms. Not all Oregon waterways are monitored for cyanobacteria, so it's important to know what to watch for! A harmful algal bloom can look foamy, scummy, thick like paint, and pea-green or blue-green in color. It can look like a thick green or brownish-red mat, or bright green clumps suspended in the water. If you find thick, brightly colored foam, scum or mats in a lake, pond, river or stream; especially in shallow, marshy areas where cyanobacteria blooms can form don’t let your pet drink or swim in the water. 🙏
some symptoms in dogs that got exposed to a harmful algae bloom:
* Weakness or collapse
* Nausea, vomiting
* Excessive drooling
* Weakness, fatigue, stumbling
* Abdominal pain
* Diarrhea
* Difficulty breathing
* Shaking, trembling
* Seizure like activity—tremors, rigidity, paralysis
If your dog goes into the water:
* Don’t let your pet lick its fur.
* Wash your pet with clean water as soon as possible.
⚠️ If your dog has symptoms such as drooling, weakness, vomiting, staggering and convulsions after being in water, seek immediate veterinary care. It could be life threatening.

Oregon Health Authority will issue pre-emptive public warnings following reports of dog illnesses or deaths possibly resulting from cyanotoxin exposure.

Steve's Real Food Update ❗

There has been some changes in the works with Steve's, which has caused shortage issues. Luckily we do have an update on their products!

- All Products are back in production. which means we should be fully stocked with Steves super soon 🤞
- They are fully seperating dog and cat. Their original recipe will only be complete and balanced for dogs, but they will still have the Quest line for cats! 🐕🐈
These changes will happen for the next couple of months. The Steve's brand highly encourages while the original recipe lasts you can use that to your advantage of helping switch your cat over to the quest line.

Thank you to our wonderful customers for being patient while they have been going through these changes and hopefully we can be stocked with their food again! If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to us. We will keep you updated incase there are anymore changes!

Flea and tick season is upon us! 😱
Well... Oregon experiences fleas all year round but it gets worse with the warmer weather ☀️🌴
Make sure you have a gameplan for your pets with this new sunshine!
Doing your monthly flea treatment is always a great start as most brands cover the whole flea life cycle, ticks, and even mosquitos! 🦟
Don't have the budget for the topical? Try these:
- Herbal repellant shampoo, Flea shampoo 🛁
- Internal herbal powder 🧄
- Insect spray ( Pet friendly ) 🫧
- Diatomaceous earth 🌏

Make sure to keep a flea comb and Tick remover on hand. Getting into the groove of routine checks can help nip the problem right in the butt! 🐕
