📢 Now Booking: February 24th Fix-A-Pet Clinic 🐱

Dog people — don’t worry! 🐶 We have two Fix-A-Pet dates in March that will be open for both dogs and cats.

Please read carefully before booking ⬇️

🔹 $10 booking fee is required to hold your spot
• This fee does NOT go toward your balance
• It goes directly to the shelter to help cover vetting costs
• No-shows or cancellations = no refund

🔹 Cancellations
• We require at least 48 hours’ notice if you cannot keep your appointment
• This allows us to fill your spot with someone else
• Dr. Vaughn has a quota she must meet to continue offering this service — no-shows put future clinics at risk

🔹 Consent Forms
• Forms will be emailed to you when you book
• They must be completed and returned one week before surgery
• If forms are not received or we cannot contact you, your spot may be given to someone else

📍 Drop-off: 8:00 AM at the shelter
📍 Location: 787 Ephesus Church Rd, Poulan, GA 31781
📍 Pick-up: Between 2:00–3:00 PM

The hardest equation we ever learn is how briefly our pets get to exist beside us. We welcome them into our lives full of energy and mischief, believing time is generous and unending.

We watch them transform from tiny troublemakers scaling curtains into familiar, grounding presences curled at the edge of our beds.

And then one day, quietly and without permission, the years accelerate. Their faces soften with gray, their movements slow, and we’re confronted with the truth that their lifetime moves on a much shorter clock than ours.

Certain evenings, especially the quiet ones, carry that weight. The unsettling sense that time is slipping faster than we can grasp it.

Still, there is something deeply sacred about being chosen to walk beside another soul for their entire journey. To witness their first playful leap and be there for their final, peaceful rest is an honor few experiences can match.

Don’t let the fear of goodbye steal the warmth of today. Hold them close while you can.

Their time may be brief. The love is not. ⏳❤️🐾

A sad reality of rescues now, adoptions are down, surrenders/abandonment are on the rise, fosters are always needed and donations down. The reasons rescues have to close intake and say no!

🚨 Urgent Help Needed! 🚨
We are in desperate need of both wet and dry kitten food right now. We have several orphaned kittens in our care who are without their moms and relying completely on us for survival.
If you can donate any kind of kitten food, it would make a huge difference for these little ones. Every can, every bag helps.
