👋 Hi everyone! My name is Alivia Smith, and I’m so excited to introduce my new dog walking service — She Walks Dogs 🐾
My love for dogs started when I was six, when my parents gifted me a little yorkie poo named Henrey. He wasn’t just a pet — he was my best friend. If you asked anyone in my family, they’d tell you without hesitation that I was Henry's favorite person. We grew up side by side, and he taught me that a dog truly can be your best friend. 🐶💛
When Henry passed in 2018, I knew that one day I’d want a yorkie poo of my own to carry on that bond. In September 2024, that dream came true when I found Nash — my sweet puppy. Just three days after finding him, I drove six hours by myself to bring him home, and it was the best decision ever. Nash is truly an angel, and he reminded me how much joy dogs bring to life.
At the time, I was living in an apartment with two roommates — each with their own dog — plus one of their boyfriends’ dogs who was basically part of the pack. Needless to say, our home was a zoo 🐾 but we loved every second of it. Together, we learned how to raise and train our pups, and I realized how natural it felt to care for dogs. The joy they bring is unmatched — and now I want to give that same joy back to them through She Walks Dogs.
✨ My approach is patient and adaptive. Every dog has their own personality and needs — whether it’s an energetic puppy who needs excitement and redirection, or an old soul who needs gentle care and a tender hand. Maybe your dog is a unique mix of both! I believe patience is the key to building trust, because while we don’t speak the same language, dogs do communicate — and with quality time, we can understand each other.
That’s where I come in. I know life gets busy, and sometimes giving your pup that extra patience and attention can be tough — and that’s OKAY. That’s what She Walks Dogs is here for 🐾
🌟 The future of She Walks Dogs is very bright in my eyes! For now, I’m focused on building strong connections with you and your pup to make sure your needs are met — and hopefully exceeded! But down the road, I dream of expanding to offer more services, like training sessions, dog and pet sitting, overnight care, socialization walks, and maybe even grooming.
