Maverick has been making great progress around other dogs! We don’t necessarily need him to play with them, but he does need to be able to comfortably exist in their presence.
​He’s getting close to the finish line with us. We’ve established a structured routine built on clear leadership, exercise, and permission. While structure doesn't outright "fix" every issue, providing a consistent lifestyle targets his insecurities directly. Knowing when he feels uncomfortable and stepping in to advocate for him goes a long way! We are building his trust that we have control of every situation so he doesn't have to be on alert.
​Our goal is consistent, positive interactions, which we build right into his daily routine. Great things happen when solid leadership comes first!

Maverick the Great Dane mix crushed his first field trip today! 🐶🎉
​We worked on tone recall, sit-stays, handler focus, thresholds, and car manners! Huge steps for the big guy! We are so proud of how far he’s come, and we still have over a week left in his program to keep building on this progress! 🙌

Moby the​ handsome 7-month-old mix is wrapping up his 3-week board and train program, and he is ready to head home tomorrow!

​Moby has put in some serious work over the last few weeks, building solid foundation skills and learning how to make great choices. We are so proud of the progress he’s made!

​Now comes the most important part, transferring everything over to his owners so they can keep the momentum going at home. Consistency is key, and we can’t wait to watch this guy thrive with his family!😎❤️

​We had a great mix of skill levels, from seasoned pros to new dogs just starting out.
​Maverick (the big guy 😆) has been learning how to simply exist around other dogs without needing to interact. Being able to watch and observe calm dogs in the room is a huge step forward for him!
​An anxious mind leads to poor decisions. When we teach dogs to find a calm state, their brain transitions from emotional reactivity to cognitive processing, aka thinking mode! 🧠🌟

The big guy known as Maverick, has been working hard on his tone recall!
This is just a short clip of some of his progress so far! We are working on tone means to come to the handler. Then when he arrives, we're working on stay and then his release word "break"! All together, this is a full recall. Of course, this will progress more but this is the skeleton of what we are asking for.
Super happy with Mavericks progress so far. His energy is shifting, becoming more relaxed and collected everyday 🙌
