Anyone that still needs a hunt horse for this fall will want to come see Dutch! She is a mountain trail/outfitter/hunter deluxe! Standing at 16.1, she is a TN Walker/Shire cross mare that although not gaited, has a ground covering walk and a can do attitude no matter what you point her at. She has led a pack horse and been the pack horse. She has packed out elk and she high lines, pickets and hobbles. With Dutch there is no guesswork... we already know you can get on before dawn and climb the mountain to be ready for sunrise. Dutch is great for the farrier, trailer loads with no issue, stands tied to anything you need to tie her to and has good ground manners. Even though she has not spent time in an arena she neck reins, has a great side pass, backs up and is soft in the bridle. At 11 years old she has her whole life in front of her. Located near Three Forks, MT. Fifteen and 3 zeros. See her video here. https://youtu.be/MJMDI6PA6oI?si=fnpTfNU0UH8jWEy

SOLD - Butterscotch "Scottie" is a 16 year old, seasoned, trail riding, TN Walker gelding. The horse world is a small place... when the owners of this horse asked me to sell him they gave me his old health cert from when he came into the state of Montana with 5 other gaited horses... well, 4 of those horses were being delivered to me. I remember seeing him then and thinking how stunning of a horse he was. He is a solid 15.2, making him bigger built than most. Now that I have been riding him I realize his trail training is as good as the other 4 I had from the same owner. He walks right into the water no problem and is easy to get along with. His ground manners are great and he was good for my farrier when he got a brand new set of shoes the other day. He ties solid and trailer loads well. This horse has a lot of years left for miles and miles of trail riding. Located near Three Forks, MT 6 and 5 and 2 zeros. See video here https://youtu.be/j4YA_3Sf7Mo?si=FjCZD0Wwbi4rp8LX

Project horse! Salone is a beautiful and athletic 5 year old TB/Anglo cross, 15.2 hand gelding. He was purchased by his owner as her future 3 day eventer and has proven to be a little more of a project than she wanted. He has all of the basic ground work. He has been saddled, bitted, line driven, ponied out on the trails and someone with training experience needs to pick up where we left off. He is great for my farrier and super sweet. He is up to date on vaccines and has a coggins. Located near Three Forks, MT. three, 5 and 2 zeros. See his video here https://youtu.be/LWSZYxM9Q44?si=dyc88SiRbV5C9nST

Here is your chance to have a superb three ring prospect on a budget.

Tweety bird is a 16 hand 8yr old imported Dutch warmblood by Harley Vdl. He has a wonderful canter, and gives a great feeling in the air. He has good changes, all the flat work buttons and is brave to the fences. He hacks out alone, he hacks out ba****ck, I’ve taught 7yr olds on him, and he’s been partially leased by some of my college kids. He is always everyone’s favorite horse to ride or handle. He is a kick ride on the flat, but has his own motor over fences.

I bought Tweety bird after he was voted best horse at a college prep show by all riders, and he’s been an absolute pleasure to have around. He already boasted a long record up to the 1m with a junior at the big venues, and I started to develop him as a small junior hunter, and derby horse. However, my clients have not been showing as much and I can’t get the miles on him that I had hoped, so am sadly offering him to someone with a little more time.

This is a true best friend type horse and I’m hoping to find him the perfect fit to continue his career. Offered in the low/mid fives starting with a four, reasonable offers considered to the perfect situation. Located near Bozeman MT See his video here. https://youtu.be/692uE9Khw7w?si=a5JU6fYUC6sa0TJZ

SOLD - Cosmo is a trail horse deluxe! He has spent his life out on the trails as a family horse from grandkids up to grandma. He is a grade Rocky Mountain that is 14.2 and 15 years old. He will pony another horse to hunting camp, go out alone down the road, or trail ride with all of your friends up a mountain trail. He is afraid of nothing, and is always willing to move out and is smooth as glass. He will cross deadfall, water, puddles, mud.... nothing phases Cosmo. I'd say about anyone could ride him especailly if he's out with other people. He has his own motor but is not hot and is capable of following behind slow quarter horses without getting antsy, or will bravely lead the way. He has wonderful ground manners, stands tied anywhere, was great for my farrier and trailer loads like a dream. Located outside Three Forks, MT See his video here. https://youtu.be/W_nBrKNROUo?si=jZ_lUX2V3yBTGXMD I have extra video of him saddling and trailer loading upon request.... 7 and 5 and 2 zeros

Who needs a guy that’ll make ya smile every single time you interact with him, Who smiles every time he sees you (not kidding he really does) and he has X-rays and a fresh ppe on file!

SOLD - Squid is a 15.2 hand Friesian/quarter horse cross mare. She wears a size 4 shoe and weighs around 1450 pounds. If you have ever wanted your very own D3 Dozer, life size Tonka toy or a real Bob the Builder character Squid is your girl. She will get you to where you need to be anytime, anywhere. She has a nice personable disposition, will ride alone or with others and doesn't care if you left a lunatic tied to the trailer screaming for her... she still just goes out and does her job. She takes good care of her rider and I have had a lot of beginners on her. But if you want to go canter circles in the arena she can do that too. She will tie to the trailer, or in cross ties and if you are like me and have to go on a Where's Waldo search for your tack she will patiently wait while you find it all. I trained this horse when she was 5 and loved her then (still love her now), and am re-selling her for her owner, that is not riding much anymore, Squid is now 11. You can pony her off another horse, or use her to pony one, and has a nice neck rein. She also has a comfortable lope. Located near Three Forks, MT a 8 five and 2 zeros gets her. See her trail video here https://youtu.be/ZqaSSDghEaU?si=GZ8r_FBoIbbEzDWp see her arena video here. https://youtu.be/P5MXqZMHGN8?si=gZv91wvB5soAFhJw

PENDING - Ruby is the epitome of what all Rocky Mountain horse breeders strive to raise. Perfection wrapped in chocolate. This almost 14.3 hand beauty is 6 and registered and certified with the RMHA. She is fancy broke enough for some arena work besides her fearless ability on the trails. She will ride with others, alone and cross anything you need her to cross. Working eq would be a blast with Ruby. She does canter and her shining ability is with the obstacles. She’s never met an obstacle she can’t do. Tarps, dragging things, gates, bridges, flags, water. She can do them all. She side passes and has a solid stop and back and neck reins. Ruby is unique, she’s handy broke wrapped up in a gaited horse. Located near Bozeman MT ….
