ISO- Full-Time Loper/Assistant for an NCHA cutting horse trainer.

KB Cutting Horses is growing and looking to add another member to our team! Located in the Gallatin Valley in SW Montana, we are looking for a responsible individual who takes pride in their work, is a self-starter, has a great attitude and is excited to work with world class cutting horses.
Some of the responsibilities are as follows:
-Loping horses
-Saddling/ Unsaddling
-Bathing/ Grooming
-Keeping the barn clean
-Cleaning tack
-Keeping trucks and trailers clean
-Making social media posts
-Preparing for and traveling to horse shows
Must be a proficient rider, however experience in the cutting industry isn’t required.
If you are looking to expand your skills with horses and learn on the job, this is a great opportunity. With this position, expect early mornings and long unpredictable hours at home and the shows. During the cutting shows, especially, expect long days in a fast paced environment as they run on a tight schedule.
-No dogs or horses of your own
-No drugs of any kind will be tolerated
-Being a team player is an absolute must
5-6 days a week. Salaried position. Pay DOE.
You will have the opportunity to ride many horses, but if you are above barn chores, this is not the job for you. This position is for someone who has a true passion for horses, attention to detail, a very positive attitude and self motivated. We have incredible horses in our barn who deserve nothing but the best attention and care.
